The ancient port and market town of Bideford, where you can catch MS Oldenburg to Lundy Island, is an easy 0.5-mile walk down the quayside where you will find an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants. The local area offers a selection of attractions including The Milky Way (10 miles), the Big Sheep (3 miles), Tapeley Park and Gardens (3 miles), Dartington Crystal (8 miles) and RHS Rosemoor Gardens (9.5 miles).
