The cabin is located directly across the street from Big Bear Lake, an 8 min walk to rental boats and a 5 min drive to Big Bear Village shops and restaurants. This retreat has amenities galore including a game room, hot tub, central air conditioning, an arcade console, fireplace, & more! This spectacular cabin is the perfect getaway for family, friends, & pets!

With three spacious levels, six bedrooms, and a generous layout accommodating up to 13 guests, this grand retreat is the ultimate getaway for family gatherings, weekend reunions with friends, or pet-friendly vacations. Whether you're unwinding after a day on the slopes or soaking in the tranquil scenery, you'll find that every detail at Out Of Bounds Cabin is designed to help you feel right at home.

Start your mornings with fresh mountain air on the upper deck, sipping coffee as the sun rises over the lake just across the street. The gourmet kitchen makes breakfast a breeze whether you're flipping pancakes on the griddle or preparing a delicious brunch before heading out to hike, bike, or ski. After an active day exploring Big Bear, return to the comfort of plush sofas and gather in the open-concept living room complete with a 65” Samsung TV and Sonos sound bar for movie night or gaming marathons.

When it's time for some fun indoors, guests can head to the game room for entertainment galore including shuffleboard, pool table, arcade classics, and even bar seating for spectators. Poker nights come alive in the game area on the main level, or challenge the kids to a ping pong match on the patio. Then, reward your sore muscles with a soak in the private hot tub under the stars, followed by a get-together around the fire pit on the deck.

The cabin’s six bedrooms offer a range of cozy options with everything from a private suite with California king beds and ensuite to a bunk room that’s perfect for kids complete with a loveseat and Roku TV. Each room is outfitted with comfortable bedding, hardwood floors, and amenities that blend rustic charm with modern flair. And with fast Wi-Fi, a house generator, TVs with Roku, an EV charger (please note, there is a FEE to use the charger and you must bring your own Tesla and universal adaptor), and central air conditioner, you'll have all the modern conveniences you need without ever having to leave the mountainside magic.

ROOM DESCRIPTIONS

* Note: This cabin has an automatic house generator if the power ever goes out. It runs every Wednesday for approximately 10 minutes midday. Please note that this generator does not power the car charger or hot tub.

* Living Room: The open-concept living room is located on the main level. It has 2 big reclining sofas, 2 plush chairs, DVD player, and access to the upper deck. The 65” Samsung TV has Roku, a Sonos sound system bar, and an HDMI game port (for use if you bring your own video game console).

* Kitchen: The open-concept kitchen is located on the main level. It has a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a range, a microwave, and a toaster oven. Amenities include a crockpot, a mini crockpot, a waffle maker, a griddle, coffee machine, and assorted cooking necessities. This room has access to the upper deck as well as a sliding security gate on one side of the kitchen for small children and pets.

* Dining Area: The open-concept dining area is located on the main level and has a dining table near the kitchen that can seat 12 guests. There is also a bar area with a mini-fridge.

* Game Area: There is a game area on the main level near the living room. It has a convertible game table for poker and checkers, a 35” TV, and a wood burning fireplace. In addition to this game area, there is a dedicated game room located on the lower level.

* Game Room: The dedicated game room is located on the lower level and is accessible through the main patio. It has a shuffleboard table, a pool table, bar seating for guests, an arcade console table with classic video games, a dart board, and 2 TVs (middle TV in pictures is currently unavailable as of 12/25/25).

* Laundry Area: The laundry area is located on the main floor near the kitchen. The washer and dryer are available to guest use for a small fee, thru an app. The fee is $5.35 for 24 hours unlimited use.

* Garage: The garage is located on the main level. It has 1 EV charger (Tesla & universal adapter) available for guests to use for a small fee thru an app.

OUTSIDE AREA DESCRIPTIONS

* Upper Deck: The wraparound deck has outdoor dining for 4 guests, a Tommy Bahama cooler, outdoor seating, a propane fire pit, and gorgeous views. This deck is accessible through the main level of the cabin. Please note, cushions for all outdoor furniture are in the garage and we kindly ask you to return them prior to checkout.

* Patio: The patio has 2 hanging chairs, additional outdoor seating, a ping pong table, child size basketball set, a grassy recreation area, access to the game room, and a four person hot tub. The lower yard area is also fully fenced for children and pets.

* Lower Yard: The lower yard is a large backyard area that is fully fenced and located under the patio area.

BEDROOMS: Out Of Bounds Cabin has 6 bedrooms total. There are 2 bedrooms located on the main level and 4 bedrooms located on the upper level.

* Bedroom #1: This lower level bedroom is a primary bedroom that has 1 California king bed, hardwood floor, a 45” Samsung TV, and a walk-in closet.

* Bedroom #2: This lower level bedroom has 1 queen bed, hardwood floor, a 45” Samsung TV, and a closet.

* Bedroom #3 (Bunk Bed Room): This upper level bedroom has 2 bunk beds with a total of 5 twin beds. The first bunk bed has 2 stacked twin beds. The second bunk bed has 3 stacked twin beds. It also has a sitting area with a loveseat, hardwood floor, a Sonos sound system, and a 45” Samsung TV with Roku.

* Bedroom #4: This upper level bedroom has 1 queen bed, a 43” Samsung TV with Roku, hardwood floor, and a closet.

* Bedroom #5: This upper level bedroom has 1 queen bed, a 43” Samsung TV with Roku, hardwood floor, and a closet.

* Bedroom #6: This upper level primary suite has 1 California king bed, hardwood floor, a 65” Samsung TV with sound bar, an ensuite bathroom (Bathroom #3), and a sitting area with a desk.

BATHROOMS: Out Of Bounds Cabin has 3 full bathrooms.

* Bathroom #1: This full bathroom on the lower level has a shower and bathtub combination.

* Bathroom #2: This full bathroom on the upper level has dual sinks and a walk-in shower.

* Bathroom #3: This is the full ensuite bathroom to Bedroom #6. It has dual sinks and a walk-in shower.

Big Bear Lake local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 14 people & 6 parked cars for Out Of Bounds Cabin.
