“Clean and comfortable. You get what you pay for. I’m sure the owner could afford mini-splits, but that’s my only complaint. (No ac) it was 85-89 when I was there, glad I brought a fan.”

“If you just want to get away from the city this definitely is the place Just a very nice clean room with a very pretty walk in shower! Cute retro appliances too”

“Very small rooms with thin walls. Bed blanket had holes, probably from cigarettes. There is no bed sheet.”

“I hate to give such a bad review. My family began staying at the Goldmine Lodge in the early 1990s, so it had some nostalgic value. This weekend was the first time since 2007, and the property is really run-down. The wall heater didn't work, and the BBQs were rusted out and unusable. Most of the switches didn't work, and the kitchen window was broken.”

“The 3 bedroom (cabin 11) was a lot smaller than we expected. It sleeps 8, but there was not enough living space to accommodate 8 people. We only had 4 adults and were on top of each other in the living room/kitchen. Other than that, well located and amenities were great. Close to the lake and nice views. Jesus the on site grounds keeper was very helpful and always picked up when we called.”

“Since arriving room smell like there was a gas leak. On the 2nd day it was stronger the gentlemen when asked to help he said he did smell any gas. I had other guest with me that definitely smelled the gas. Then gentlemen let me know I’ll just turn off the furnace. Never admitting there was a gas problem. Also, the pool was advertised as heated this was not true. Pond was extremely dirty.”
