The Space:

During the summer months, open up the windows or relax on the deck to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the flowing creek just behind the house. For the full rejuvenating effect of your Montana vacation, make sure to relax with a morning cup of coffee or evening beverage in the private hot tub as wildlife frequents the area. After checking out the local culinary options, allow the chef in your group show off his or her mastery and enjoy preparing a home-cooked meal while using the spacious kitchen set up (fully equipped) and BBQ grill on the deck.

For those who want to make first tracks while the rest of the group is still sipping coffee by the fireplace, simply head down the driveway, and you make your way alongside the road for two quick minutes to the Thunder Wolf Lift. Big Sky’s Mountain Village is also within walking distance and has all the shops and restaurants one might need. In addition, Lake Levinsky is a short jaunt from the house and presents the perfect way to make use of a hot summer day with paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking, and more.

Ski-in/Ski-out Access | Best for skiers, but also possible for snowboarders who are up for some flat road sections.

Ski-Out: Travel down the road to the Thunderwolf Lift, or for the less experienced walk up the road to the Bear Back Poma (about a 5-minute walk).

Ski-In: Intermediate and Experts need to take Silverknife to Bear Back Poma. Ski past the bottom of the Poma on the ski trail to Low Dog Road. From here ski the road back to the house. We recommend beginners ski to the Summit Hotel and walk out the front of the hotel and ski the road the whole way back down to Low Dog Road. Silver Knife may be too steep for beginners. Note: During periods of melting the road could be exposed and cause the property to lose ski access since the road is necessary for parts of the process. The home is only ski-in/ski-out accessible when the road is snow-covered.

Bedroom 2 (third level): Two twin over twin bunk beds (sleeps 4) with shared hallway bathroom with shower

Bedroom 3 (fourth level): Queen bed with en suite bathroom with shower

Bedroom 4 (fourth level): Double bed with shared hallway bathroom with shower/tub combo

Loft (top level): Futon (sleeps 1)



Getting Around:

We highly recommend that our guests rent a 4x4 vehicle during the winter months (October-May). Please be aware that shuttle services must be booked in advance, and rideshare options like Uber or Lyft are unavailable in the area.

Parking: the driveway holds up to 2 vehicles.
