In Winter, find yourself nestled into the heart of this cozy ski community. The legendary Big Sky Resort is just a 7-mile drive (10-15 minutes) or quickly access the free shuttle. Big Sky Resort or, "The American Alps," grants you access to some the BIGGEST skiing in North America. You will be 2-miles from the notorious Lone Mountain Ranch offering world-class Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Other close by Winter adventures include snowmobile tours, sleigh-ride dinners, snow-coach tours of Yellowstone National Park and guided ski tours in Yellowstone.

In Summer, walk across the street to enjoy community events such as the Farmer's Market and Big Sky's free Summer Concert Series (Summer events are generally spanning from mid-June through early-September). You can also enjoy the Thursday night concerts from the comforts of the front deck! Being in the heart of it all you can quickly access the local trail system managed by the Big Sky Community Organization. Marvel at the unspoiled scenery during your 45-minute drive along the historic Gallatin River to the entrance of the park. This section of the park provides access to Old Faithful, Gibbon Falls, the largest gathering of Bison, and hiking trails. The section of land between Big Sky and the entrance to Yellowstone also offers several hiking trails and world-class fishing access.
