Summertime with the family! Minutes to Bigfork & an hour to Glacier.

The location is perfect for all seasons! Summertime on the lake is not to be missed. With private access to Swan Lake, your family will enjoy all the recreational activities available with ease. From this beautiful, comfy cabin you can enjoy all the winter activities Montana has to offer! From hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing to ice fishing and snowmobiling your family will love this location.
The inside of the house includes an open living room and kitchen. There is an open loft perfect for kids play time or a quiet get away. The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc and a dual Keurig/coffee maker. Internet and Roku included for your convenience.
The outside of the cabin has a large porch, outdoor table and seating for the whole family to enjoy. Spend your days playing in the spacious yard which leads right down to the dock and lake. In the evening, light up the fire pit for s'mores and watch the sun set over the water.
We love sharing this property with our family and hope that you enjoy it with yours!

Beautiful Lake, Could Benefit From a Deep Clean and Better Mattresses.

We were visiting the Bigfork area for a celebration of life, and decided some quiet lake views and the ability to bring our 14 yr old pup along would be awesome. The check in process was a breeze. However, we quickly realized a checkout time of 12:00 and check in time of 2:00 doesn’t leave much cleaning time from the family who had just stayed there for an entire week and checked out 2 hours before we arrived. We did end up vacuuming the house ourselves to tidy it up, which helped some, but with the heavily stained carpet in the kitchen area and living room, we decided to just keep our shoes on - which is not our norm. We also sprayed the shower floors and countertops down with disinfectant for safe measure because it just didn’t look clean. The fridge was not clean/fridge drawers were filthy. The hampers in the master bathroom were full to the top with dirty towels, and we just crossed our fingers that the bedding was washed before we arrived I also didn’t love the big dog kennel in the bedroom with a dirty rug inside of it. When we went to bed, I realized the mattresses in every room were very cheap, kind of that crinkly cheap crib mattress material. I’m sure it’s not much of a big deal if you’re used to a lousy mattress?The kids had an incredible time paddling around with the kayaks. Swan Lake is such a beautiful, peaceful lake. I was grateful to bring our dog along! Overall we had a great time. It really could use a good deep clean and mattress upgrades though!

Swan Oasis

This is our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time ! So much room to spread out and be comfortable for 5 adults, yet great space to be together as a family ! We enjoyed swimming, boating, sitting by the fire, playing games at the kitchen table, and barbecuing each night.

We had a fabulous, much needed family time. We rented a boat one day and watched or performed some very entertaining tubing. We kayaked and swam and picked rocks. Some tried to hike but felt it was too over grown; we will scout that out better. We found the kitchen and the grill to meet all of our requirements. I loved it!

Beautiful lake front cabin

Perfect get away cabin ON swan lake. Slept family of five very comfortably. Grandma and grandpa joined for a few nights and still did not feel cramped. Took our boat and launch was only about 3 mins from the cabin. Too shallow at dock the boat but anchored and walked in. Kids kayaked during day and roasted mallows at night. For us this place is 5 star worthy.

Perfect family location

Restful and perfect accommodations for a relaxing family getaway on beautiful Swan Lake. Hosts have set up and offered all basic necessities and more in their beautiful lakefront cabin. We enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, and use of dock for our boat. Lots of lawn room for family games.

Beautiful lake property! Great views, quiet, and nice yard for our dog.

This is a very comfortable house on a beautiful lake. There’s good mountain biking and gravel biking and hiking very close by. The water is clean and clear. If you like stand up paddle boarding you’ll love the Swan River from nearby Porcupine Bridge back to this cabin. I’d come again!

Outstanding Swan Lake home

Outstanding Swan Lake home. We had an outstanding week on the lake and enjoyed the log home. The beach is shallow in this part of the lake. It would be perfect if the dock reached out to where a boat could dock. There is weights out deeper that must be from a previous dock if you want to anchor your boat to it but it’s a pain to wade in and out to use a boat.

Lake life

Easy check in, right on the lake, used the kayak. The only thing I did not plan for was no AC. Fans in the rooms helped. If you have a heatwave, which Montana was having, AC would have been good. Otherwise, we enjoyed it.

Swan Paradise

We packed everything we would need and didn’t end up needing any of it… your cabin had EVERYTHING we needed and more! It was 100 degrees during our stay and we were plenty cool and very comfortable during our stay. The view and the water were the best! The beds were very comfortable and the layout of your cabin was perfection. Very easy to have family time and yet have some space for chill time here and there. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your cabin, we couldn’t be happier !!

Cozy stay

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at this cabin on Swan Lake. The weather was cool and rainy most of the time, but we were cozy with the fireplace inside. The cabin had everything we needed and a great lake location. Beautiful beach and dock views. We would love to stay again!

Relaxing time by the lake

We loved the rustic feel of the log cabin and its proximity to the water. The water is super shallow for a long way. Loved the use of the kayaks as well. The weather was wonderful while we were there. There are homes nearby. It is not as secluded as the listing seemed but still afforded some privacy. This was a great place to end our Montana vacation.

Perfect cabin on the lake

well maintained log cabin with enough insulation to keep the cabin cool all day after opening windows in the evening. Excellent boat access to the mouth of the Swan River and beyond. Much quieter than Flathead Lake. Great swimming, paddle boarding, and gravel MTB riding on forest service roads.

Absolutely perfect location

Family with kids of all ages from 3 months to 13 years and we absolutely loved the location on Swan Lake. The water and dock are easily accessed with very shallow water which was perfect for our littles. There is a small mart just across the street and about 100 meters away with delicious ice cream treats. The house is cozy and stayed cool with strategic window opening and closing even though it was hot with mid 90s every day. Thank you, we can’t wait to visit again!

Swan Lake House

This property was as advertised. Well appointed kitchen, clean. Bedrooms were nice. The best part was the lake. We paddleboarded, fished, swam and barbecued. Nice place for dogs and children. We loved our stay.
