“When we traveled the wind gusts were intense so the power at the hotel went out for nearly 24 hours. It made getting ready the following day very challenging. The pool was also closed for the length of our stay which was very frustrating for our kids. I wish I would have known that prior to booking this hotel. Despite the power outage, the staff was very kind to our family offering lanterns, playing cards and coffee from a local coffee shop in the morning. ”

“Check in Stall at Desk was very friendly & accommodating. Especially a staff member named Mike. He allowed me early access & upgraded my room type at no charge. Great gentleman and very friendly. Door men/Porter staff extremely helpful. Allowed me store my personal effects at no charge prior to check in.”

“The room was quaint and comfortable. The amenities were exactly what I needed; coffee maker, fridge, a small table and chair, plus a desk. The staff was friendly and let me know that my room was ready early, which was great since i flew in on a red eye in the morning. There were plenty of towels, good shower temp and water pressure, and comfy bed with an extra blanket. Also, the heat was working well, which was essential for January. The only complaint I have is that the bed frame was bigger...

“Front desk manager manually entered my card number which I thought was sketchy. Pool wasn't open. Refrigerator made a consistent rattling noise. Bathroom caulk was black. Carpets were stained. They could do better.”

“Ambiente démodé all’americana anche po’ kitsch con statua di cera e foto gigantografie del proprietario tra l’altro ancora in vita e presente in hotel. Camera accogliente e pulita, bagno posizionato a metà tra la camera e vero e proprio bagno, doccia con tendina. Colazione scardina ma visto che siamo in USA averla inclusa è già un vantaggio. Ristorante attiguo Russell’s ottima carne ”

“I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. The Bistro/restaurant was great. The bartender, Lindsay, was pleasant and efficient. Their fries are the best and the Buffalo fried chicken sandwich was yummy. I booked my shuttle the previous evening for 5:20 AM and it was ready and waiting. I would stay here again. ”
