Web site MUST tell customers that guests cannot swim in the sea in front of the resort. The room should have been in front of the sea: it was NOT true. So UNPROFESSIONAL. I won't recommend such a resort to no one in the future.

Un bel posto ma.........
L'albergo è bello e la location fantastica ma ci sono due grossi "MA": il mare era così inquinato da reflui di gasolio che non abbiamo potuto fare il bagno!! Anche la spiaggia, in apparenza bianchissima, nascondeva tracce di gasolio tanto che dopo una piccola passeggiata siamo tornati all'hotel con i piedi pieni di macchie appiccicose, nere e maleodoranti: un vero disastro! Il secondo cruccio riguarda il cibo. L'hotel applica la politica di far pagare al momento della prenotazione solo bed & breakfast lasciando agli ospiti la possibilità di scegliere dove consumare i pasti tra i vari ristoranti all'interno del resort. Una buona idea se non fosse che i prezzi erano molto alti (11 euro per 1 hamburger in piscina) e la qualità del cibo piuttosto deludente. Abbiamo avuto la sensazione che fossimo polli da spennare piuttosto che clienti da accontentare anche in virtù del fatto che la vita in Indonesia è relativamente cara. Basti dire che abbiamo speso molto meno per il cibo a Singapore (città notoriamente costosa) che a Bintan.

Tropical oasis with a few flaws
I don't understand the bad reviews and many complaints the hotels has gotten. It is a perfectly fine hotel with a huge white beach and clear water, the staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful, there were lots of well maintained facilities, and the complimentary breakfast buffet had a reasonable variety and quality. The pool was impeccably clean and it was a pleasure to use it. It was never crowded when we were there in early February, so it felt like a tropical oasis. Same goes for the beach - the sand is white and so powdery soft it actually squeaks under your feet. It was so refreshing not to see containers or ships in the horizon like in Singapore. There is a well equipped gym, billiard tables, and a table tennis table in a sport complex. Check in/check out were fast and smooth for us probably because we were lucky not to have a Chinese tour group in front of us. My only gripe is the excessive prices in all of the restaurants and bars. The food were of average quality and the prices were exorbitant even for Singaporean standards. I understand they want to maximise profits but I think many guests would order more dishes if the prices were more reasonable. WiFi could be very patchy and erratic. They should do away with the login system and just make it an open network.

Hôtel qui pourrait être très agréable mais ....
Hotel sans vie, (épidémie coronavirus et saison Des moussons). Nous devions être entre 40 et 70 clients. Malgré ce petit nombre de clients, le service était déplorable. Le personnel, qui était plus que suffisant, se trompait dans la prise des commandes (même les commandes les plus simples du style : 2 pasta du mois et 2 pizzas du mois). Nous avons reçu 3 plats sur 4 après plus de 45 minutes d’attente. En plus les plats n’arrivaient jamais ensemble. En fait nous mangions chacun notre tour à la même table 😡. Vu le peu de clients, ils avaient regroupé l’ensemble des cartes des différents restaurants dans le resto principal ( Fiesta).... C’est peut être aussi pour cela que nous attendions aussi longtemps nos plats !!!! Concernant les chambres et les espaces extérieurs , une rénovation s’impose. (Mauvaise isolation thermique (Fenêtres et portes en vous rongées par la pluie et le sel de la mer) et acoustique, rouille etc) le hall d’entrée , quant à lui est magnifique 👍. La plage près des villas est très belle, par contre celle près de la piscine ressemble à une déchèterie. Les infrastructures sportives sont là mais très mal entretenues. Le coin pour les tous petits avaient l’air très sympathique (non pratique car nous voyageons avec des ados). P En fait nous avions l’impression d’être déjà en quarantaine avant notre retour en France. Si nous avions su ça avant nous aurions annulé notre petit séjour de 4 jours (qui nous a semblé une éternité) et serions restés à Singapour 🇸🇬.

The staff were all very nice and friendly. I was really disappointed to find out that the beach is closed at this time of year. Booked 3 nights here for the beach pics advertised. Pool beautiful. Food was just ok for us. Mattress very hard. Rooms need updating. Very low iccupancy due to Covid 19.

Amazing resort, everything is clean and well kept, all the staff are well presented and attentive. We had one small problem, spoke to ANITA at the front desk, she handled it quickly and professionally. DAVID on the front desk was also very helpful. Highly recommend this resort.

Great place to stay enjoyed everything. Food was very well prepared and tasty. Staff were attentive and well trained. Property is huge and well maintained. Had two minor incidents, Anita immediately took control and speedily dealt with the situation professionally. Could not recommend this hotel enough for what is has to offer.

I have booked 3 rooms altogether and realized that the fittings in our rooms were a little old and rusty. The bottom of bathtub in my room was covered with old stains. We stayed on the 3rd floor.The inhouse telephone had a dirty smell and we dare not put against our ear and mouth when we used it.

GREAT experience Private Villa with Pool
Booked the villa with a few other friends. The villa condition was abit old, and plenty of insects around. Our villa got a free buggy to ferry us around the resort, and since our villa is away from the reception, we have to take turns to share the buggy. The pool was nice too, we had a fun time in the private pool.

Good place. Lovely views
Place was good. Did not have half the events that were advertised. We went during Christmas. Didn’t have anything apart from the carols. Kids were very bored. Spa was fantastic. food quality for buffet lacked quality. Concierge -Khadafi was very helpful. Gave the right information that even the guest services couldn’t provide. Very friendly staff. Well maintained rooms.

Extremely poor review, will never recommend BLR
Room was filthy, mirrors stained with rust, moulds on walls, weird holes in the ceiling, bath tub is really dirty and had random damages around. Found a used tissue in between the info booklet, stains found on tables and on floor. Bed sheets are dirty, especially stained pillows Dirty bathroom floor and clumps of dusts found in the bedside lamps Never had the chance to take photos of the listed findings. Would strongly encourage the management to do a better job. Service was very poor, no efficiency and no time management Terrace bar was a disappointment, food arrived really late.

Bintan Lagoon Resort
Bintan Lagoon Resort is a amazing place to unwind for a couple of days. The staff are very friendly and polite. The breakfast ( included in the tariff) had excellent spread. So really, there is nothing to complain ... except that if you have to buy your lunch/dinner , the tariffs are way too high and since it is at an isolated place, one is stuck with these rates.

The resort facilities and service were good. We enjoyed food and cocktails at many of the restaurants. However, the rooms were well below expected standards: The bathroom was dirty - the shower had mould on all the walls, The seating / massage area in the bedroom was old and had many stains on it. The rooms need a deep clean and or upgrade.

The jetty was right next to bintan lagoon resort so you could practically walk up, unless you had lots of baggage then the shuttle service would drive you up to the reception area. Lots of people checked in around 10am and we were lucky to get our hotel room at 11am when check in time was 3pm. Room was clean. However food was really expensive besides the free breakfast for 2 adults. Each meal for 4 of us costed about S$70. Best food was the pizza at about S$28. Check-out was smooth. However, the ferry returning to Singapore was so packed that some people did not get seats. Overall, we enjoyed the trip!

私はnon-smirker でしかも禁煙ルームを予約しました。ですが、部屋に入ったら、コーヒーカップの横にタバコの吸い殻がありました。また机の上には何かのカスが散らばっていました。 多分、清掃係が清掃中にタバコを吸って吸い殻をこぼしたのと、机はでたらめな掃除をしたためだと思いました。

立地がとてもよい
2019年シンガポールGP期間に宿泊しました。目の前の道路がコースになっていて、会場からも近く立地が最高でした。ショッピングモールにつながっているので、朝食はホテルではなく、そちらで朝粥を食べることができました。チェックアウト後もビジネスセンターを使用させてもらい、1時間だけ日本とテレカンもできて、仕事にもレジャーにも便利でした。

We had a very comfortable stay in the resort. Staff members were all courteous and respectful. However, trip to Plaza was not worth the time. It would have been better, if there were more frequent shuttles to and from Plaza, so that we can come back if we do not like it.
