“I had a wonderful stay! The room is wonderfully appointed, quite large and very cozy. I was thrilled at seeing it. I'm still thinking about the amazing claw foot tub! The food at the Bower House below is absolutely delicious and the staff are incredibly kind and service-oriented. I hope I get to stay here soon again. The downtown area that the restaurant and rooms are in is so charming with many shops, restaurants, etc. I loved my three night stay”

“Great stay as always , but too much piped pop music in the bar which comes up through the floor and no-one needs more piped pop music at breakfast...its not a disco!”

“Julie and Ayman are great hosts. You do feel like you're a guest in their home. We had several fun conversations with them, and a couple of times found myself feeling like I was talking to an extended family member (Ayman and his strong feelings about diesel and electric cars comes to mind, as well as Julie and her careful breakfast service). “Our stay was really nice,as our hosts were so so kind and attentive,nothind was too much trouble for them. We had a few drinks in the bar before enjoying a nice meal. Cannot praise our hosts enough for their help and kindness in making our brief 1 night stay enjoyable. ”

“My wife and I were looking for an old English inn and this fit the bill perfectly. The staff was great and our meal in the pub just what we needed. I enjoyed watching the dart game going on in the pub. I would have rated the property higher but this was a building built in the 1600’s. It was just what we were looking for but not perfect for everyone. ”

“Got in late and left early but the ppl were very kind and efficient The room clean, spacious and not standard. Fascinated by the age of the structure and he well it's kept. If you drive careful getting into their car park. The entrance was not made for today's fat cars. Many have scraped their left mirror on the wall. ”
