“Un albergo che,anche se distante dal centro di York,offre il meglio dell'albergatoria inglese:confort,silenzio,eleganza,calore.Il fatto di essere fuori città non crea disagio perchè un delizioso sentiero lungo il fiume porta in città a piedi in 40 minuti,oppure l'autobus n.11 ferma proprio davanti all'hotel,ed ovviamente i taxi che portano a destinazione in 10 minuti con una spesa più che onesta.E' un paradiso in mezzo ai prati che solo in inghilterra sono così verdi!”

“This was a real last minute booking, but what a winner. The guest house was wonderful. The room was very comfortable (didn't want get out of the bed). Such an individual look to each room. Made a nice change from the usual Travelodge/Premier Inn ordinariness. Did Didn't try the breakfast. Will rectify that next time. Very impressed. Highly recommend. ”

“Had two nights in a family room whilst visiting York, which can be easily accessed by car in minutes. The ground-floor room was clean, spacious and very well appointed, with a large TV and a small but perfectly formed bathroom boasting an array of hand-wash, shower gel, shampoo and separate conditioner! Breakfast was excellent, though options for evening dining were limited. That said, we enjoyed a couple of lovely meals at the nearby Cross Keys pub, where it was possible to reserve a table....
