“Great place to stay if you love the outdoors”

“The room was luxurious. The breakfast was delicious, with nice views of the greenery and wildlife. All this was just a sideshow compared to our wonderful hosts who would be embarrassed to read this. They felt like old friends and if I'm ever in the area, wouldnt hesitate to come back. ”

Hands down, the thing we loved most were the two gentlemen staff/bar tenders in the main floor bar. I mentioned to the first one that I just wanted to see highland cows- he called up a friend and sent us down the street to a local farm for an up-close. “We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits. Bar looked good and well stocked although we didnt have a drink there as we were going to 40th party after our meal. Its a period building and right up our street, quirky style. Defo has...
