Una cabina di lusso sul lungolago sul lago Nottely vicino a Blueridge Georgia

Novità per il 2019: abbiamo aggiunto una sezione nel salone principale, un secondo frigorifero e ferri di cavallo!

Una baita di lusso con aree soggiorno aperte progettate per ospitare grandi gruppi. Con vista sull'acqua e accesso diretto al lago con la darsena, prendi uno dei nostri paddleboard o kayak sull'acqua. Goditi le viste del tramonto dalla veranda protetta, dal molo o dal ponte. Guarda le oche al mattino davanti a una tazza di caffè da uno dei ponti. Ospita una grande cena in famiglia sul grande tavolo della sala da pranzo. Gioca nei seminterrati parzialmente finiti, perfetti per grandi e piccini!

L'audace cavaliere si trova lungo l'acqua profonda di un anno all'estremità settentrionale del lago di Nottely, vicino al Nottely Boat Club e Marina e Davenport Mountain. Siamo alla pari verso le città di Blueridge o Blairsville. Con i sentieri escursionistici nelle vicinanze, le cantine, la pesca e l'acqua nel cortile sul retro, scoprirai di avere poco tempo a disposizione e molto tempo per rilassarti. Prendi un libro e siediti tranquillamente, spesso vediamo cervi, oche e anatre, o accendi un fuoco nel firepit e fai un'ora di compagnia con il tuo gruppo. Illuminazione veloce in fibra ottica internet, Direct TV e l'armadio del gioco rendono divertenti le giornate piovose. A pochi minuti dal porto turistico, puoi noleggiare una barca per fare una crociera sul lago, oppure prendere uno dei nostri kayak e paddleboard per un giro.

L'enorme piano open space presenta un'accogliente camera familiare principale arredata da un interior designer professionista con mobili di fascia alta, un enorme camino in pietra e finestre panoramiche a due piani che incorniciano scene idilliache del lago e della natura. Un comodo tavolo da pranzo rettangolare da dieci a sedici posti a pochi passi è un'isola di granito con spazio in cucina per molti cuochi che vogliono unirsi alla preparazione. Tre delle cinque camere sono dotate di servizi privati e tutte dispongono di biancheria firmata.

Qui, in una posizione ideale della Georgia del Nord, la vita della lakelife ti aspetta. Daring Horseman è impostato per fornire una delle vacanze più memorabili della tua vita.

Nota: abbiamo lavorato sugli aggiornamenti della casa e continueremo a caricare nuove foto nella primavera del 2019. Il seminterrato è parzialmente finito. Abbiamo aggiunto un secondo frigo e due kayak per due persone questa primavera!

Great week - responsive, friendly host, spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed home. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor spaces - open-air deck with a nice view, large screened-in porch, plenty of outdoor seating in a variety of locations, dock with boat slip, and 2 paddle boards available! This home is conveniently located, close to the Nottely Boat Club and Marina for easy access to pontoons for rent, also very close to big water on the lake - the Nottely rope swing nearby is fun as well (access by boat). Tons of space in this lovely home! When the toy shows up?

Family wedding

We spent the weekend in Blairsville for a family wedding. There were 10 in our party and the house was perfect. The beds were comfortable and we all slept great. Make sure you bring toilet paper with you and anything you might want to eat. Town is about 25 minutes away.

No trash pickup the entire week. Cans were already full from the previous week. No response until 3 days after we had returned home. There were scorpions inside the house. One person bitten—slightly. Both refrigerators contained items from previous occupants.

Lake Life is Fabulous

Every summer my family, cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews go on vacation together. We often struggle to find the house that meets all of our needs. This house is that house. We have toddlers, teens, middle aged and elderly. We cook every meal and need a variety of activities. This house has communal space for reading, card games, jigsaw puzzling, kayaking, swimming, fire pit nights. The kitchen is equipped for anything you can cook and plenty of forks for everyone! It is beautifully appointed and yet very comfortable. The cove of Lake Nottelly this house is on is quiet and beautiful with mountain views from the dock. The owners of this property are communicative and responsive. We love staying at The Daring Horseman!

Awesome vacation!!

We loved everything about the house the location, everything. So much room for my family of 15. Everyone loved this property so so much. The location is fantastic. My grandkids loved the kayaks and fishing. And we all loved sitting by the fire pit. I’d definitely recommend this house and I’d definitely go back there. West Family Lake Weekend #4

This property was perfect for our family of 13. We love Lake Nottely and plan an annual trip to hangout and have fun. It is also very convenient to the Nottely Marina where we get our pontoon boat rental. We enjoyed the home very much. The dock was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. We also used the fire pit outside.

Wonderful for family gathering.

The house was perfect for our family of 12. Plenty to do with the paddle boards and water toys. The kids enjoyed swimming and fishing from the dock. We rented a boat from the marina which is right around the corner. Huge dining table was great for family board games and loved the screen porch for rainy day reading. Plenty of room for all the spread out. All descriptions and communication were on point. Would definitely return.

The Daring Horseman - one of the best ever lake vacation spots.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. There are so many extra amenities with this beautiful, amazing home that are not even listed. Comfort creatures, everything you would ever need in the kitchen - with our family and kids in and out of the lake - we cooked every day. Had s’mores at the fire pit - just bring your fixings! Lots of life vests in case your forget one (although we all each have our own). Lake “toys” for kids of all ages. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for private spaces. We almost never turned on a tv! Sandi is a top notch communicator and so accommodating, which made our 2 week stay even easier and stress free! Thanks, Sandi. We all hated to leave and everyone said the home and perfect weather made it so hard to do so.

Best on Nottely

This is our 3rd stay in this home on Nottely. The house fits our group of 12 easily and is well appointed with everything you could need - we used the paddle board, kayak, hammock, the boat tube, and more! The screened in porch was a perfect spot to watch the sunset. Already planning our return trip.

Perfect location and comfortable home

We loved this house! Perfect location so close to the marina and wide area of the lake with little traffic. The home has so many great amenities— they leave all spices available for you to use which is a great help. The pantry is not open so count on counter space for food. The rooms had awesome beds for small kids to sleep with parents. Two huge masters upstairs with three beds. The other room upstairs is perfect for two kids. The walk down to the lake was easy and not as steep as other rentals. This is a great place for a family get together! Our only drawback was lack of drapes/shades in the bedrooms and the two beds in the basement that are out in the open facing the windows without drapes to shut out light. We would love to return next year and know you will also love this house.

The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Even though it rained almost every day we had plenty to do. Fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. Golfing nearby. Very comfortable beds. The 2nd refrigerator downstairs was an essential for our group. We will be back!!!!

Great vacation home!

We had a surprise engagement celebration and it couldn’t have worked out better. The house and area was perfect. The house had everything we needed plus some. It was super clean. We enjoyed our time on the lake in the kayaks that were provided and enjoyed the porches. The kids enjoyed playing in the lower level with the provided toys, games, and other activities. A++!

Amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed a weekend family reunion in this stunning location. The views over the lake, combined with a wood-burning fireplace provided the perfect setting. Large seating area, fully-furnished kitchen, and play area for children downstairs made it very practical for our large group. The very large table was a personal highlight, allowing us to all eat together and enjoy unhurried conversation over meals. With chilly evenings, we even made use of the outdoor fire pit, allowing children to swim yet warm up by the fire. The weather was not quite warm enough for us to utilize the large screened in porch, but that provides another exceptional living space. Children also really enjoyed the SUPs and kayaks, allowing them a bit of lake fun even in early March! Would we come again? Definitely!

Girls Weekend

This was our second fall trip to the Daring Horseman. This house is large enough to accommodate a large group and has everything you need! The location can’t be beat. The lake was freezing but that didn’t deter us from taking a quick plunge and using the kayaks and SUP that’s provided. Literally the only thing this rental lacks is a hot tub. Most of our time was spent gathered around the fire pit and enjoying the beautiful lake and fall foliage. Sandi is very responsive to any questions. Hoping to continue our annual tradition here!!

A family paradise in the Lake & woods at The Daring Horseman

Our annual family summer vacation was indeed paradise at this lovely home and setting. Being that we live near the beach in Wilmington, NC our family likes to go to the mountains & lake settings for vacations. Our first time at Lake Nottely was a golden find with the design and generous amenities that the owners have made for this rental. Everything was top-notch from the house's cleanliness, outdoor lake toys, the comfortable beds & furniture, appliances, the wonderful downstairs with new renovations and added queen suite to the shadowed settings in summer's heat for outdoor seating. Fire pit for sunset & smores enjoyment. The spacious kitchen, filled with every pot & pan, great appliances, and supplies for cooking. The 6 grandchildren teamed up to cook gourmet meals nightly. We loved sitting at the huge dining table together, fitting more than even our family size. For outdoor fun we used the kayaks, paddleboards, and life jackets at house. We rented pontoon boat from Lake Nottely Marina, so we could explore lake . Kids loved jumping from swings & cliffs as shown on map that's provided by homeowners. We enjoyed a day of golf in Blairsville at Old Union and horseback riding at Appalachian trail near Blue Ridge. Shopping & dining at lovely Blue Ridge is a must! The 2 hr. scenic train ride leaves from Blue Ridge as well. As you can tell, we couldn't have been any more pleased with our stay at The Daring Horseman. We have always used VRBO for our annual family vacations, but must say that booking this rental 4 months ago was a gem. You'll find that owner, Sandi is wonderful in responding to any questions, even to our losing our way to Cozy Cove on the 1st day. A real paradise in the woods! Leslie & Steve and family
