Tranquille Luxury Cottage in Blue Ridge Mountains!

Privato, tranquillo e sicuro, il Tranquille Cottage ha il meglio di ciò che la montagna ha da offrire.

Tranquille (francese per Tranquil) si trova tra Blue Ridge e Blairsville, nelle montagne del nord della Georgia, immediatamente fuori dall'autostrada a 4 corsie Ga 515/76 ,. Situato privatamente in una suddivisione sicura e recintata ma a meno di 5 miglia da negozi, ristoranti, escursioni e altre attività ricreative in montagna. A pochi minuti in barca e ottima pesca sul lago di Nottely, sul lago Blue Ridge e sul lago di Chatuge.

Il cottage ha un gourmet, cucina ed elettrodomestici da chef; soggiorno con grande TV a schermo piatto e camino; lussuoso letto matrimoniale con materasso memory foam e ampia TV a schermo piatto; un grande bagno in marmo con due lavandini, una grande doccia personalizzata e pavimenti riscaldati; lavatore e asciugatore; una veranda vetrata con pavimenti riscaldati; un ponte esterno sedia a dondolo con una griglia a gas e tavolo e sedie; bella, superficie alberata con piccolo ruscello.

The cabin description was spot on, extremely clean, close to good restaurants. It was conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. The owners were great and gave good advice on local eats. The roads leading to the cabin was easy to drive and it was right off the main highway. We added this to our favorite list of places to stay. I highly recommend this cabin for anniversary trips and couples getaway.

Home Away From Home

Quiet secluded in the woods. It was a very Peaceful stay only Deer, bird’s & squirrels were seen on the Property that no and beautiful property. The Back porch was new addition to the house. It was nice to sit out back & just enjoyed the nature & the Property. the bathroom was very beautiful. The kitchen was up-to-date with modern standards and easy to access the tools needed to cook. Linda and I are very happy with the stay and we will return in the future.

Very Unfortunate

To start, I will advise the owner to take down the surveillance cameras they have on the property. These surveillance devices record audio/video and is a violation of Georgia Law and against VRBO policy. These cameras are not disclosed on the VRBO site description and even though I disconnected them, my wife and I wondered (and checked to see) if there were any hidden cameras. We also had two unannounced visitors one morning that startled my wife as she walked the dog. Nobody wants to be recorded or visited by the property owners when you are paying for peace and quiet. Second, the restroom had not been cleaned, and it reeked of urine. I checked the guest logbook and saw that another couple had stayed in the cabin checking out the Friday prior to our arrival on Saturday. I had to purchase cleaners to get rid of the smell. Very unfortunate to say the least.

Just perfect

Kitchen well equipped, furniture so comfy (including the bed), great bathroom! Literally the only thing I would change is queen to king size bed (but just bc that’s what we’ve been sleeping in for 32 years). Great couples cottage and close to town. Will def come again!

We had stayed here more than once and it is the ONLY place we stay when we travel to Blairsville and Blue Ridge. It is close to everything, easy to find and the place has so much charm. I would give it all the stars if I could!

This is one of the few places that is way more impressive in person than the pictures advertised. It's updated, clean, spacious, quiet, and a perfect getaway! The owners are wonderful to deal with and I will certainly be returning.

If I could give it 10 stars I would

It is a beautiful little piece of paradise in the mountains. We saw white tail deer right outside while having our coffee. It is close to Blue Ridge and Ellijay, or you can just relax on the great porch :) I would recommend this cabin to anyone!!!!

Awesome cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tranquille. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. Beautiful kitchen. We cooked dinner both nights because we really loved the kitchen. Keurig coffee maker with all the coffee supplies. Bathroom was wonderful. Awesome spa like shower and heated floor. So nice. Bed was so comfy. Beautiful view of the property. We saw a bunch of deer and turkeys. It was in such a convenient location, right off the main highway, no crazy mountain roads. Highly recommend this place. We hope to visit again soon!

This was such a wonderful cozy cottage to relax and shut out the busyness of the world for a few days! Everything was exactly as advertised including the heated floors, great kitchen and comfortable bed. We've never been to Blairsville and this was such a convenient yet private, secure area. Hidden Gem!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Tranquille Cottage for four days at Christmas. We were not expecting this cottage to be so beautiful. Description does not do it justice! It is a MUST stay. Billy was wonderful checking in on us a few times to make sure we were warm enough (temperatures were in the single digits) and to see how everything was. So very sweet! The floors in the bathroom and on the porch are heated! The propane fireplace in the livingroom keeps the cottage perfectly toasty on cold nights. The entire cottage is beautiful updated. Thank you so much Billy for being a great host. We will definitely be staying at Tranquille Cottage in the future.
