The Cow Shed is a stunning luxury holiday home that’s perfect for two couples or a family looking to explore this wonderful rural part of Dorset. The lodge offers two bedrooms and a wonderful open plan living space with log stove, or during the warmer months enjoy the private garden and dine al fresco.

    With such a well-regarded village inn, with an adjacent play park for kids, just a short stroll away, you may not be cooking too much.

    The Cow Shed is perfect for a long weekend away but is also an ideal base from which to explore all that Dorset has to offer, glorious rolling countryside and miles of golden sandy beaches and hidden coves.

    Also well worth a visit is the New Forest National park with picture postcard villages, many with charming Inns to stop at for a bite to eat. You will also find free roaming donkeys, ponies and even pigs! It also offers miles of great walking and cycling for the more energetic guests. A lovely place to have a short break.

A lovely place to have a short break.Being able to walk to the pub to have an excellent meal was areal bonus.We did find the sofa’s abit uncomfortable but otherwise we had no complaints.

The cow shed

Lovely little 2 bed property in an ideal setting for touring around. Nice pub near by if you don't fancy cooking. Chris the owner very approachable and helpful. And plenty of little walks about if you're traveling with your furry friends.

I good location for Dorset attractions.

I good location for Dorset attractions. The outside space could be more secure for a dog, the fence is getting a little worn. A few cobwebs in the property and cleaning between the chair cushions needs more attention. This would be a push for two couples. However a couple having individual bathrooms was great. Tv is a bit hit and miss. No terrestrial Tv. The gate catch needs adjustment and irritating. All minor issues that can be easily addressed to turn this in to a great place to stay

We had the best time in this lovely little holiday home.

We had the best time in this lovely little holiday home.We were happy with the location, 20minutes to the nearest supermarket, and about 40 to places like Salisbury, Lullworth Cove and the New Forest.The place was neat and clean.My only negative is the couches were very small, only just big enough for 2 adults.We were also unable to get the central heating to work, so was a little chilly in the evening. Some more firewood and firelighters would have been good.The host was very friendly.I would say it was good value for money.
