Balsam Hollow Cabin negli Adirondacks

  • Balsam Hollow è una cabina rustica di nuova costruzione, affascinante, creata dal cuore per la nostra famiglia, i nostri amici e voi. Dall'esterno e dall'interno interamente in legno, alle ringhiere in legno nel soppalco, alle scale e al portico coperto con ponte avvolgente, la nostra missione è quella di offrire ai nostri ospiti una vera esperienza Adirondack.

    Troverete una buca per il fuoco sulla proprietà di 10 acri con una pista per lo sci di fondo e un'escursione.

    Circondato dalla natura, appartato e privato, eppure situato in posizione centrale al lago Saranac, Lake Placid e Rainbow Lake con 25 miglia di corsi d'acqua di collegamento.

    Anche se siamo nascosti dai sentieri battuti, siamo a pochi minuti da così tanta avventura! Pattinaggio su ghiaccio (stile stagno o piste tra cui l'Oval olimpico nel Lake Placid), Stazione sciistica di Whiteface Mountain, Gite in slitta trainata da bob, tiro con lo slittino, gite in slitta trainata da cani, canottaggio, canoa, spiagge di montagna, buche per il nuoto, rafting in acque bianche, escursionismo, mountain bike, e molto di più!

We loved this cabin! Cozy and warm. Jill,our host, was great. Answering any questions we had before hand. We were busy every day, site seeing and it was so nice to come back to the cabin and relax!

Cozy cabin located in Bloomingdale, 15 minutes to Saranac Lake and another 10 to Lake Placid. The cabin had all the amenities, it was extremely clean, and provided a comfy home base for the week! Our boys enjoyed the loft area, perfect for teens to hang out and relax after a day of hiking and swimming! We also enjoyed the fire pit one evening for s’mores! The area was super quiet - felt really remote despite being just outside of the main part of the small town. Jill was very communicative prior to our arrival as well as during our stay. Highly recommend Balsam Hollow for your stay in the Adirondacks!

Perfect Cabin for a cozy getaway

Great location. Insanely cozy. Had such a wonderful time and great communication from the host. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

Balsam Hollow -Beautiful and Serene

this was a wonderfully cozy cabin that was perfect for our family of 4. it was close to saranac lake and lake placid and made for a great launching point for our day trips. We always enjoyed coming back to the home and prepare food and relax by the fire pit. it was an ideal getaway. thank you!

We found the check in very simple. We enjoyed cooking in the small rustic kitchen. Would have been glad for curtains or blinds on the east windows.Nice place to stay!

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice kitchen, good shower. 10-15 minutes from Saranac. 15-20 min from Paul Smith VIC. Excellent paddling, hiking and biking close by. Would definitely stay again.

excellent hosts, beautiful property

Wonderful stay, perfect family lodging and jumping off point for Lake Placid and surrounding areas. Property was perfect, amenities were "just like home", everything as-described, all communications were detailed, accurate, and prompt. Would stay here again 100%. Thank you!

Family mountain getaway

The cabin was absolutely wonderful for our family vacation. Easy access to all the beautiful attractions nearby. My teenagers love the loft space and hung out up there every evening. Close to hiking fishing and a nearby ski resort. We highly recommend the gondola ride at whiteface mountain !

Love this place!

We love it here! This was our second year staying here and we already booked for next year, really hoping we are able to stay here each year until we take the plunge and buy property of our own. This cabin is great in every way and the owners are truly fantastic! We travel with 3 adults and 2 kids and it is the perfect house for us, great location, secluded and woodsy, but a quick drive to civilization.

We love this cabin. We have now stayed here 3 times for a week or more each time. Comfortable. Clean. Feels very secluded with lots of deer but civilization is a short drive away. Jill and Julia are fantastic hosts!

Great location with privacy

We had a wonderful time staying at this location. The hosts really thought of everything - plenty of wood for the firepit, propane grill, dishwasher, towels, etc. Centrally located but still private so you feel like you have your own space but are still within good distance of lake placid, white face mountain, etc. Highly recommend!

Cabin Paradise

A wonderful, perfectly appointed, cabin with all the amenities you can think of and many that you didn’t. Jill and Joan have provided a spectacular base camp for anything you care to do in the North Country. We couldn’t have been more pleased

Cozy, Comfy Cabin

This was the perfect cabin for our stay in the Adirondacks. We wanted to visit the Olympic sites in Lake Placid and this cabin is less than 30 minutes away. However you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with beautiful views of trees - which we loved. The cabin is well decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed and it felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and tranquil

The cabin was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The night sky was amazing! This was our first experience with Vrbo, and the process could not have gone more smoothly. Communication with the owner was easy and frequent.

Lovely home!

We had a great stay - this property is fantastic! Very clean and warm - the heated floors were a great touch for a cold week in February! The whole family loved the We were also big fans of the tankless water heater. Only change we would suggest was for the queen bed on the first floor - it was much squeakier than we were used to. We'd definitely stay here again!
