Engagement Weekend

Our family and our future extended family stayed in the house and had a reception for our future daughter-in-law. We had such a great time and the house provided just the right venue with space for all of us to gather and get to know each other. Highly recommend this house and host!

Girls Trips Retreat

The house itself was extremely beautiful. Big and spacious. We were not able to control the heat so we were somewhat cold and had to bundle up in our clothes. But that did not stop us for enjoying our retreat and great conversation. Some stated that it would be nice if there were televisions in every bedroom. But overall, we had a fantastic stay.

Wedding Weekend Comfort

Reserved for weekend of son’s wedding. We are from out of town, needed a place for 4 days for our family as well as a place for bride and girls to prep day of wedding. Perfect backdrop for photos and videography. Was so much more comfortable than a hotel. Immaculate…wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful Stay

Me and my college fraternal brothers stay for the weekend at Mansion of Bloomington was excellent. The house was more than accommodating, and the amenities were nice. and it was spacious so we didn't feel cramped in. The proximity to nice shopping, restaurants and the Illinois State University campus where we are alumni was perfect. We will being staying here for future events. I highly recommend this site for any large group or family who need a perfect place to stay.

Perfect House

We were in Bloomington for a family reunion and bocci ball tournament. We are a large family and the host was so kind about letting us all gather together for meals and fellowship with our family that lives in the area. The house is not only beautiful, its spacious floor plan and amenities made for a perfect weekend. Anytime we return to Bloomington this will be our home of choice. We have 5 grown married children with grandchildren. We always want to stay together when we travel. We are a VRBO family and not all stays are what you think they will be. This property went beyond expectations. Our trip was just perfect.

Amazing property

This house was amazing!!! It accommodated our large group easily and had all the necessities you need for a great stay! The hosts were great and communication was very easy and efficient! The neighborhood was just beautiful and we really enjoyed the outdoor seating after long hot days!

Wonderful gathering place

We were a group of friends who came to town for a high school reunion and wanted a comfortable place to spend time together between scheduled reunion events. This property was fantastic for our purposes! The property is located in a very nice neighborhood. It was clean and nicely decorated. It is a huge house that had multiple gathering spaces, a large well equipped kitchen upstairs for snack/meal prep, comfortable sleeping spaces for each of us, and multiple bathrooms so we all could have space to ready ourselves for outings. We didnt even use many of the rooms in the house bc it is so big. The patio was a great gathering place for coffee and conversation a few mornings and evenings. Our group didnt use the lower level which included a second kitchen, bar area, theater, bathroom, and pool table. The only item missing was an iron, for those who traveled a long way and needed to press their clothing. We had to ask a number of questions before and during our stay and the property manager was friendly and quick to respond. Everyone in our group was very happy that we stayed at this property! We would come back to this property without hesitation.

Funk farm 200th anniversay

This house fit our various ages perfectly with the variety of bedrooms, bathrooms, sitting in recreation areas. Family members enjoyed the steam shower, the soaking tub, Billiard table As well as the basketball game. The only thing missing was network TV for Fox News.🙂

IWU Volleyball

We were in town for an IWU volleyball tournament. This home was perfect and the manager was very responsive. It is a stunning home with lots of space!
