Want to pretend this is your personal cabin that has been shut up for over a year? You open the door and the intense musty odor about knocks you over, cobwebs hanging from the ceilings, windows filthy, floors gritty and dirty and need to be swept before your shoes come off, furniture needs to be febreezed, areas of woodwork need the white powdery mildew/mold washed off, mouse turds in kitchen drawers, porch and deck need swept before being barefoot, lawn needs mowed (some grass a foot tall), hot tub cover needs scrubbed before touching it and even though cover is closed the intake in the bottom is still clogged with tree droppings, toilets must be flushed at least 2-3 times to prevent embarrassment. However, the cabin, if cleaned is beautiful even though it need some updating. Windows would be gorgeous, river location is amazing, The owners are quick responders, as long as you don't mention complaints. Each time I contacted them, they replied immediately. When I mentioned issues.... crickets. I only wanted an acknowledgement an apology for the lack of care to the cabin. I asked the owner for her email, i sent an email with the issues, no reply, i asked why, she said if i had a complaint i should send an email..... I ALREADY DID.... and now I haven't heard another word. I did not ask for refund or compensation of any kind. I guess my frustration was more about being treated like my concerns were no big deal. They got their money.... the end!
