Whether you seek adventure in the Aska adventure area or a relaxing retreat, the ABC Retreat cabin will meet your desires.
ADVENTURE: Within 15 minutes of this authentic chink log cabin: the Toccoa River (trout fishing and tubing/kayaking); the Appalachian Trail; Benton Mackaye Trail and the Aska Trails (hiking and mtn biking).
RETREAT: This cabin is in a quiet community of log homes on large lots. Spend your morning sipping coffee on the deck listening to the creek or relaxing in the hot tub.

Great Little Getaway

Fri-Sun stay of 2 families with young kids, and we loved the cabin. Fully stocked with toys, games and books. Little steep hike to small creek was fun, and firepit had tons of wood for the complimentary s’mores :) Kitchen stocked with essentials, but byob- coffee and olive oil if need be. Outside sprayed for mosquitos so nice but major bee hive nestled in hot tub flashing so didn’t use that. Closest tiny store/restaurant was a 15min walk (but full of extreme right paraphernalia fyi). Best to load up on groceries prior to arrival and bring your own tubes so you don’t have to go thru a company (local way). Cabin had a good amount of outdoor towels which was great! Would recommend for families

Perfect Christmas getaway

We decided to do something a little different this year and rented the cabin. BEST decision ever. Beautiful place plenty of room great host answered every question we had when not not having to wait. Would highly recommend anyone wanting to come to the mountains to try ABC . We hope to come back again soon

Already planning a return trip!

My husband, myself and our three teenagers really enjoyed our stay at ABC! The location is perfect. It’s just a few minutes to kayaking, tubing, hiking and places to eat. And, my minivan had no trouble navigating the roads to the cabin. The cabin itself & the hot tub were very clean. There’s a lot to keep busy with at the cabin. There is fire pit with firewood on-site ready to use. My husband and I enjoyed morning coffee on the deck while listening to the babbling creek on the property and kids enjoyed playing in the creek. The hosts have Cornhole, outdoor connect four and a ring toss plus foosball, an arcade and lots of board games inside. And, the Wifi worked great. The kitchen had all the pots & pans needed to cook our meals and an outdoor grill. We had such a lovely time and can’t wait to stay again!

Beautiful cabin in a quiet neighborhood.

My family and I enjoyed the cabin, porches, gameroom, hot tub, walking around the neighborhood, and playing in the creek. The Toccoa River is close by for fishing, playing, kayaking...etc. Lake Blue Ridge is a short drive as well as various mountain hikes and waterfalls. Andy, the host, was phenomenal in communicating fun things to do around the area and keeping in contact. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Girls’ Trip 2021

Beautifully appointed cabin with a multitude of things to do for a girls weekend or for families. Cornhole, firepit, s'mores kit left by owners, games, puzzles, foosball, and a Pacman table gave endless choices. Everything was in wonderful working order, beds were super comfortable and the owners were responsive and a delight to work with.

Our accommodations proved to be a highlight of our trip!

It was more than refreshing, the selection online did not do this place justice...it was so much better which is so opposite of what can happen today when you book sight unseen. This cabin was gorgeous in both size, decorum and amenities. The kids loved the game room. Our host, Andy was attentive and very hands on with anything we needed. I am already planning my next adventure to this area with other family members, but only if and when this property is available. Thank you
