Your own Sweet Retreat awaits and invites you to enjoy the beauty and serenity of Blue Ridge Mountains, just 6 miles from town. Showcasing a touch of updated rustic farmhouse flair with new custom cabinets, quartz & granite countertops, each level offers room for everyone to enjoy their own comfortable living quarters. The upper level offers a huge private master en’suite with private deck. Main level with 2 queen bedrooms and full bath. Lower level has another cozy river rocked fireplace, entertainment room, bunk room to sleep all the kiddos, game tables, and full bath. **Please note- The terrace level bunk room does not have an emergency exit, the nearest exterior door is through the game room to the hot tub deck**Take time to slow down on the wrap-around porch or an evening under the stars around the firepit. Plenty of level parking, a firepit area, and brand NEW hot tub!!! Best of all, Sweet Retreat is PET FRIENDLY!!!
** Please Note: For stays longer than 14 days, a mandatory mid-stay cleaning is required. This cleaning will be scheduled during your stay and is charged at the same rate as the standard cleaning fee. If the property requires additional cleaning due to excessive mess or damage, extra charges may apply.**
Maximum number of vehicles which may be parked overnight shall not exceed 3 vehicles.
*Please Note: Dogs are welcome at Sweet Retreat! 2 dogs, no weight limit- $50
Guests are required to sign a Rental Agreement within 48 hours of booking and prior to check-in.

Retreat in Ga

Very big and beautiful . Would definitely stay again. It was just 2 of us. But would be plenty of room for the whole family. I saw deer,squirrels and birds also.

Beautiful retreat

We had two families with young kids stay together for a long weekend in the snow and had an awesome time! The kids had so much fun with all the toys in the game room and of course playing in the snow. Adults loved relaxing in the large open kitchen family room and the hot tub. The house is the last one up a quiet road. There are other vacation rentals around but it’s still remote enough to get some peace and quiet. The road was pretty steep and once we got in, we were snowed in all weekend. Really no realistic chance of getting out. However, we had everything we needed and it ended up being a fun benefit in a way! Everything was clean comfortable and functional for us. Definitely recommend.

Cleanliness

When my daughter and I arrived to celebrate her becoming an RN, we discovered two big puddles of urine on the floor, one in the kitchen beside the garbage can and another in the living room next to a chair and a rug that also had smeared animal feces on the floor. I notified the property manager immediately and she said the housekeeper may have left water there when she was mopping. we left shortly thereafter for a dinner reservation and when we got back in we realized that the entire cabin including linens, pillows and towels and dishrags smelled like animal urine. I notified the property manager who said the linens and towels were washed at an outside location and that she herself had dropped off some things before our arrival and that there was no smells of animals in the home. It was so unbearable that we had to go buy candles and sleeping bags and towels to use, we had the a/c turned down low and the candles burning but after just 1 night there we decided to check out. I notified the property manager of our early check out. We have never had such an experience as this and to say it completely ruined our trip is an understatement.
