Hemlock Creek Cabin

Riporta la tua sanità mentale! Questa è una spa per l'anima. Sempre una casa per le vacanze, affittata per la prima volta. Tutto l'immaginabile è qui. Una valle privata tra le maestose cicogne crea l'atmosfera di essere annidata. Quasi un quarto di miglio di venti torrenti a cascata attraverso questi 5 acri. Questo è il posto giusto per sfuggire allo stress della vita. Andrai a casa con un "nuovo contratto di locazione sulla vita". Questa baita si trova a soli 20 piedi dal bordo dell'acqua nella curva di Vandergriff Creek. Sentiti come un re nell'enorme letto di tronchi della suite padronale con un portico privato. Apri la porta e lasciati cullare dalle acque borbottanti. Quando il sole raggiunge il picco sulla montagna, hai percorso un sentiero lungo il torrente attratto dal suo incantesimo rilassante. Il caffè nell'altalena stabilirà il ritmo per una giornata rilassante. Tanto divertimento alla vecchia scuola: freccette, ferri di cavallo, boccioli e altalena.

Tre camere da letto tutte su un piano lo rendono facile. Un sacco di spazio in 2.200 piedi quadrati. Griglia come un grande chef sul grande uovo verde. Tutto ciò che serve sono le bistecche. È tutto qui. La cucina è attrezzata come a casa. Collegati al mondo esterno con Wifi, Netflix, Direct TV su TV super HD da 55 "con audio surround Rockfish, se necessario. O fuggi completamente rilassato sotto le cicatrici: probabilmente perché sei venuto. Prova un fuoco sotto le stelle nella nostra buca per il fuoco all'aperto. Il legno è tutto impilato. Molto da fare nelle vicinanze. Flusso di trote di classe mondiale a pochi chilometri di distanza con la Cohutta Fly Fishing School. Dirigiti verso Tube il fiume Cartecay in una direzione o kayak in Toccoa nell'altra. I sentieri degli Appalachi e Benton-MacKaye non sono lontani. E nessuno dovrebbe venire in montagna senza vedere le cascate di Amicalola a 25 minuti di distanza. Adorabile Ellijay ha molti buoni ristoranti - anche a 25 minuti di distanza.

Awesome Creek Cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin on the creek. It was clean and plenty of room for everyone, 5 adults and 3 grandchildren. We will definitely rent again.

Beautiful Cabin

We loved our stay! This place was recommended to us by a previous guest and it did not disappoint! The owner was fast to reply and the cabin was clean and spacious. We live in atlanta and we are thinking of making this a yearly trip!

Perfect!

The cabin is large and roomy - super comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for folks to spread out to enjoy quiet time or get everyone together in the large main space. Surrounding woods and creek are beautiful to explore or just sit and relax. Peaceful and quiet.

We came for a relaxing few days and thats exactly what we got. Very private and quiet home/property that was exactly as described or better. Close to Ellijay, Blue Ridge Lake and Amicalola Falls SP. We would definitly recommend and/or come again. First rate stay.

The pictures do not give this property justice. If a peaceful relaxing get away is what your are searching for this property is perfect. The creek is absolutely amazing with lots to explore. Sitting anywhere on the property you can hear the creeks waters. The cabin is simple yet perfect,secluded,peaceful, and all around relaxing. We will definitely be back again.

relaxing by the creek

This is the 4th year we have stayed at this cabin and, again, it was wonderful! Very relaxing sitting out on the back deck and listening to the creek. The cabin is always pristine clean and inviting. Anyone thinking of renting a cabin by the creek should look into this one!

Weekend

My son and I had a wonderful father son weekend. We played in the Creek and basked in the wilderness tranquility. It is a beautiful property and it is very well represented in the listing. We had a ball and we definitely plan to return again this summer!

Beautiful and peaceful

We love this property. It’s the second time we’ve stayed there, and perfect for kids! Our 5 year old son loved playing in the creek. The cabin is comfortable and cozy. Always very clean and welcoming. The creek, fire pit, screened in patio and back porch with the green egg are just perfect for an amazing and relaxing vacation. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin. Cathy, the owner, is great and easy to communicate with.

Can’t wait to go back!

We loved it so much the first time that we came back! The cabin is perfect! Cathy has stocked it with everything you’ll need. The creek and surrounding area is so peaceful. The drive from the main road is a little scary but totally worth it when you see the cabin. I’d recommend a truck though not necessary. Cathy, thanks for sharing this wonderful place. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Get Away

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! As promised, the creek out back was very relaxing and everyone enjoyed being able to sit outside to listen to it bubbling. There was ample space for us to spread out and not feel crowded despite having 6 adults and 2 children on the trip. We loved that it was off the beaten path and we really felt that we were able to unplug and explore the nature around us. We hope to be able to return to this very property sometime in the warmer months so that the children can play in the creek.

Best cabin in Elijay

This cabin is beautiful. And a nice surprise the beds are amazing. I’ve traveled a lot and normally beds are okay but these beds are super comfy. Cabin is very clean and has everything you need. It really is a home away from home. And Cathy the host is so nice and helpful. She was a delight to work with and was super patient with all my questions. We loved it so much the first day my family said we would book here again. Thx Cathy for an incredible stay!!

Another Fantastic Stay

This was our second stay at the cabin. Once again, it did not disappoint. Our goal was to escape the heat of FL and just relax. We did exactly that...the kids played and floated in the creek, we grilled out, and enjoyed time around the campfire. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and had everything we could have needed in the kitchen. If you are looking for a place that is a bit more removed from town to relax and unwind as you listen to the bubble of the creek this location is ideal!

Can't wait to go back!

We wanted a get-away and this was perfect! The cabin is just as beautiful as described and the setting is private and wonderful! We explored the creek, enjoyed the firepit, had coffee on the deck and watched a Georgia sunrise , enjoyed steak on the covered porch, and most importantly - just relaxed. We cannot wait to go back! Cathy was a pleasure to work with! Communication was quick and instructions were detailed. The drive off the main road made me a little nervous but we're not used to driving in the mountains. I would recommend a truck or SUV though.

My most favorite spot ever!

This is the most peaceful, wonderful spot in the world. The creek right outside the back door is magical, and my favorite thing to do is sip coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings with my feet propped up on the railing right by the rolling creek. The cabin is tucked back from the road and chances are you won't hear a peep the entire time you're there. This spot is perfect for kids, too. Our son played outside the entire time, in the creek and on the property. I love that I didn't have to worry about traffic or neighbors. My husband loves to cook and the green egg grill out back was a wonderful surprise! I can't say enough about how much we loved this place- we can't wait to go back!

An amazing getaway!

We had such an amazing time at the cabin. It was everything we hoped it would be. We had no issues finding the cabin. I would definitely suggest arriving before dark because it is a lot of winding roads. Once you drive the roads a few times though you become a pro! We loved exploring the property and walking through the creeks! The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed cooking on the big green egg! The pictures of the creek does not do it justice. It winds all through the property making you feel like you are in another world. I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Another perfect stay

This is year two for our family at this property and we felt right at home. The house was clean and supplied as it should be. Plenty of towels and wash clothes and extra blankets and pillows. Everything you need in the kitchen, unless you are going to cook something special and need something very specific. It was in the 80’s and 90’s but it never feels that way here because of all the tree coverage. My kids spent most of the time on property looking for creatures under the rocks and playing in the creek. They are so content here and never want to be inside. We had two afternoons where it rained but there are plenty of games and puzzles to keep you occupied. We even watched a movie on the smart tv. The only complaint I have is that 5 days were not enough. Don’t think twice about booking this property.

Amazing home and property!

My husband, our two daughters (9 and 7), and I had a wonderful spring break trip at this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this cabin again in the future. The property itself is amazing! It’s private, well-kept, and so much fun for the kids. Even though it was cold, my daughters had a blast jumping rocks to cross the creeks to a little island. I’m obsessed with the tulip magnolia in the front yard. The cabin itself is beautiful. You can tell a family loves this home, as it’s well-stocked with everything you might need. For example, have a power strip between the nightstand/bed makes it much easier to quickly set up your home away from home. Everything was clean and fresh, and the house is incredibly cozy! My girls loved the loft area. Cathy, the host, is very quick with responses and information. Her detailed instructions ensured we found the cabin easily, without cell service and in the dark. She is friendly and easy to work with! If you are looking to enjoy the outdoors and have some quality family time, this is the place for you!
