“Lovely little cottage in the perfect location for exploring the coastline.Very good value for money.The hosts were lovely and we ate in the adjoining pub on the nights it was open.The food was delicious and reasonably priced.Very dog friendly, we will definitely return .”

“Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”

“The cottage is ideally located and the off street parking is a bonus. The property is well laid out and spacious with everything you could need for a relaxing break. We would not hesitate to return. Only a couple of suggestions to make the stay even better. There was a faint smell of drains in the bathroom which built up if the door was closed. The wooden frame round the bed had corners which could catch your legs when walking round it due to the close proximity of the wardrobe. More room...
