Very beautiful hotel in front of a lake. Everything is prefect from the room to the services. All the people working there always smile and they are very helpful and kind. They gave us the possibility to leave the baggage even until evening with the possibility to have a shower. Breakfast with a variety of food cooked also on the moment.

Like coming home!
Once again, this place is like arriving home. Staff are helpful and accommodating always with a smile! We explored the near by village on Alex’s recommendation via bicycle. We took the HCMT and had a wonderful afternoon. Great scenery! Food is great and there is lots of it, spa services are up and running and doing well, free breakfast, bicycles and kayaks to explore. Take a break and treat yourself to this beautiful resort nestled in the Phoung Nha Park.

Tham & Tony are excellent hosts. Property offers lots of things to do. Have cabanas on the lake, you can kayak, swim. Very clean with modern large rooms, private sitting patios, modern bathrooms and excellent staff. Would definitely recommend.

Best smile and hospitality
We were greeted with a huge smile and genuine kindness. Alec (I think was his name) the front desk concierge was probably the most friendly person I’ve met in Vietnam. He greeted was with a smile and showed us around. The lake house had a wonderful view! Everything was clean and really nice. It was super relaxing stay prior to our cave expedition. Most definitely staying here next time!

If you stay anywhere in Phong Nha, stay here!
Beautiful setting and wonderful,friendly staff and owner who spent a time with us chatting and sharing his rice wine. No detail was overlooked, high standard of finish in the accommodation. It’s a shame weather was so bad otherwise we would have tried the kayaking on the lake. They even washed our scooter before we checked out!

We loved Phong Nha Lake house. The staff were so friendly abd helpful. They made you feel like part of the family. We hired a motorbike through the hotel and they guided us to many of the pubs and sites of phong nha. Breakfast was great not one complaint about this hotel. It is not in the townsite but I think this is what makes this place unique

Bad location in main road.
Friendly staff and cheap happy hour beers. Location ist right on the main road with absolutely nothing In waking distance. Food is ok, they seem to focus on western stuff a little too much. Pool and rooms are ok. Location is really not that great.

Very nice place but far from city.
The Phong Nha lake house is awesome and beautiful. The facilities are very up to date and clean so you feel comfortable. The staff are very nice and helpful and the food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and delicious. Be prepared to bring cash because their machines didn’t work. One thing that was disappointing was that the hotel didn’t offer a deal on taxis, motorbikes or a shuttle service. It’s 7 km from the city and we had to pay an expensive cab to go there and back to grab a drink with friends. I think they should look into some sort of service to make the experience better.

Great place to stay for a quiet time.
Our stay at Phong Nha lake house was awesome. The resort is very clean, comfortable and nice and the staff are very helpful and kind. Our room was spacious and clean and overlooked the lake. We used the kayaks in the morning to enjoy the lake and the warm weather. The food in the restaurant is also really good and well priced. Only two things to consider. The machines internet is spotty so the credit card machine did work so make sure you bring enough cash to pay for things. An employee had to drive me to the atm when we were checking out. Second, it’s not near anything so either rent your own motorbike or be prepared to take taxis which are costly.

Phong Nha Lake House felt enormously welcoming. The staff did so much for us and made sure our stay was catering to our needs. It’s out of the main town of Phong Nha so we at at the resort both nights. All the guests mingled and were very friendly sharing their adventures of the day.

Ein gemütliches Hotelzimmer mit schönem Balkon und tollem Blick auf den See. Das Hotelpersonal ist super freundlich und an Aufmerksamkeit kaum zu übertreffen. Zimmer sehr gepflegt und sauber. Hier gab es endlich mal Moskitonetze am Bett. Ob zu Dekoration oder Benutzung sei jedem selbst überlassen. Diese Option findet man in Hotels leider viel zu selten. Das Restaurant wird hier separat betrieben. Da wäre beim Service noch Nachbesserungsbedarf. Frühstück gibt es a‘ la carte, wobei die Auswahl überschaubar ist, jedoch ausreicht. Essen war ok. Kleiner Nachteil: hier ist man recht isoliert. Zum Ort sind es sieben Kilometer und es gibt kaum Taxis. Hotel bietet - gegen Bezahlung und nur sofern gerade ein Fahrzeug verfügbar ist - einen Fahrservice an.

A wonderful experience
My husband and I stayed at Phong Nha Lake House Resort for 8 nights, and had a wonderful time. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and talked with us regularly. They were also very helpful in responding to our questions and requests. They helped us modify tours to suit our needs and interests, making is so easy for us to customise our activities. They also made it easy for us to do the kayaking and cycling which was free. We stayed in a room overlooking the lake. It afforded us with a great view of the lake and beyond, and with opportunities for daily contemplations with nature.

Beautiful setting, over looking the lake. Nice pool , comfortable seating area for meals. Checking in/ check out guys were very friendly . Wait staff not very attentive or helpful and food was not great. Pretty far from city and caves so you need a motor bike but quiet , nice place to relax.

Very nice lakeside hotel
We had a large quiet room with balcony in a chalet overlooking the lake. Hotel is about 6km from Phong Nha village and bikes are available to ride there. It has pool and large indoor/outdoor sitting/eating area. Meals are good and mixture of eastern & westen cuisine, but menu is not very extensive - they have to be paid for in cash and cannot be put on the bill. Pickup service from Dong Hoi station worked well. Large range of tours of nearby caves available - we chose 1 day Paradise & Phong Nha tour, which was very good. Friendly staff & good laundry service.

Restaurant ziet er mooi uit. Eten is goed. Bungalow mag geen bungalow genoemd worden. Erg kaal en kil. Sfeerlicht is er niet. Alleen maar bouwwerkzaamheden(motorzaag/ slijptol etc.) en ontzettende brandlucht/rook van brandjes(bladverbranding). Uitzicht op het meer wordt deels verpest door elektriciteitspalen/kabels. Personeel begrijpt totaal niet wat je besteld. Zelfs niet met hand gebaren. Hierdoor krijg je vaak het verkeerde. Dit gebeurd meerdere malen per dag. Mensen van de receptie zijn behulpzaam en spreken wel Engels. Zolang je niet te veel verwacht is het verblijf aan te raden.

Restful Oasis in beautiful surroundings
This is a very comfortable hotel with wonderful staff. The guest bungalows with balconies are right on the lake. A pool, kayaks and swimming in the lake, with breathtaking views of the hills. Close to the caves and well organized for tours. Dining inside or alfresco on a covered patio and very good food. Very highly recommended. We would like to return and bring our family with us.

Very nice place at a lake
We enjoyed our stay, directly at a small lake. A bit outside of Phong Nha, but very easy to get there and good to start cave tours. Rather a place to relax than to party. Breakfast was good but limited to two dishes.

We loved our Lake View Family Room. Facilities and staff were great. Breakfast was good although we could have had eggs, sausages AND hash browns instead of choosing only 2 of those items. The resort is located right next to a road so be aware that there is road noise even when paddling on the lake in a kayak. No rafts. Noodle portions were quite varied in size at different meals.

Fantastic place but
The place was fantastic, the staff very friendly.. however there was a problem with our booking.. we had booked a family suite with theee beds for three adults and we were given two double beds instead.. the manager apologized and offered a free drink.. was nice of him but was not sufficient to correct the mistake for our two night stay.. the description on hotels.com did not match what we got in reality

Outstanding stay
Lake view bungalow #7 with balcony and king bed was so nice. Large room with large bathroom was clean, comfortable bed, well equipped, beautiful view. We enjoyed kayaking the lake. Excellent friendly helpful staff. Airport Shuttle by private car $400, 000 one way. Enjoyed proximity to Phong Nha Ke Bang for the 4.5 km Paradise Cave tour. Restaurant food was good. Loved this place!

Fabulous location on a lake, nice service
We spent 3 nights. The location is great to visit Phong Na National Park (though it is outside town). We spent New Year's eve and there was a nice buffet with roasted pork and some karaoke involving the guests. They started early and finished early so that guests who want to sleep early are not disturbed.

Excellent place, wish we could have stayed longer. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff (receptionist rattled off the Dong Hoi train schedule when we asked about getting to the train). They packed us breakfast for our journey off too!

Great stay!
Such a pretty setting! They upgraded us to a room right on the lake and it was stunning. We would 100% return to this hotel and would pay the little extra for the room on the lake - very worth it. The food was good and very reasonably priced. Many activities for when you aren’t out exploring the national park. Great stay.

Einfaches Hotel in wunderschöner Lage
Wir waren hier, um uns die Höhlen anzuschauen. Dafür bietet das Hotel einen super Ausgangspunkt. Die Lage ist wunderschön und das vorhandene Angebot an Freizeitaktivitäten top. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet, aber alles ist sauber und funktional. Die Minibar war sehr laut, so dass wir nachts den Stecker ziehen mussten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wirklich super schön. Zimmer toll. Lage super. Unbedingt einen Roller / Scooter mieten und die Gegend selbst erkunden. Einzig der Inhaber ist leider etwas unfreundlich und kann nicht mal Hallo sagen, dafür sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich

Great friendly stay
A fabulous hotel and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly in helping us out with tours and onward travel. Easily accessible as a drop off point on the main road to Phong Nha, it is great value and away from the hustle and bustle of Phong Nha village. Rooms were great and breakfast was decent. Even food choices, although slightly inflated prices, were still good.

Nice relaxing stay
This is a hotel ideal for people who want a bit of time away from the hustle and bustle of the city, a very relaxing stay! Friendly staff and close to the Caves. The hotel staff are happy to help with booking tours and transport.
