“Excellent weekender. I stopped in on my drive up to Denmark. I had the attic room, wonderful appointed bathroom, comfortable bed and great view of the garden. Very clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were very friendly as were the locals. It’s a convenient location too, lots of great sites just a short drive away. I would stay again. ”

“Since we didn't know where we were supposed to park our car, we had to walk inside and it was quite confusing during the rush hour at the restaurant. I was not able to find the reception desk so I walked through the hallway with no luck. When I found that it was inside the restaurant, I asked one of the employee about parking our car and she looked away from me. I assume that she wasn't the employee that I needed in the first place. It was quite confusing at the beginning. ”

“Prachtig hotel moderne kamers.goede sfeer. Klein dingetje.. als je aparte bedden boekt is het wel fijn als er ook 2 dekbedden zijn. Niet iedereen is een stel. Heerlijk gegeten en de bediening super vriendelijk. Heerlijk ontbijt en mochten lunch meenemen. ”

“Buon punto di partenza per esplorare la natura del nord, organizzano anche wadlopen e affittano le scarpe per farlo. Ottimo livello. Frequentato soprattutto da olandesi e tedeschi. Peccato non traducano in inglese né depliant né menù. La piscina coperta è vicina a poche stanze, bisogna passare per strada per raggiungerla. ”

“The welcome on arrival was both warm and helpful and during our stay any questions we had were handled helpfully and professionally. The standard room was clean and comfortable and the limited space well used. Next time I will probably book a comfort room. We did not eat at the hotel other than lunch for which there was a menu with plenty of choice. Parking was easy and plentiful. “Fantastic room, but this isn’t called Hogg house it’s actually Hotel Groningen- be sure to tell your driver that, or you will get driven around. Very nice place and easy to walk where ever you want to go. Very happy ”
