No water!
We did not have water in our room for 2 days in a row. The safe did not work either. Other than that the hotel is nice in a good location. Would never stay there again because water is essential. Staff said their pump was broken. No refund offered.

Lamentablemente durante su estadia se presento un daño en todo el sector lo cual nos dejo un dia sin agua, al haber sido improvisto este supero nuestra capacidad y por ellos nos vimos en la necesidad de suministrarles agua de manera manual. El daño se presento durante un dia y lamentablemente uds fueron la unica habitacion que informan no haber tenido el suministro por dos dias. En cuanto a su molestia por la cajilla de seguridad, debe comprender que nosotros no tenemos forma de saber las claves personales de los huespedes y lamentablemente al no ser grabada por parte de uds, de manera correcta, la parte del staff no puede abrir ni cerrar la cajilla. Esperamos poder mejorar nuestro servicio para una proxima ocasion Muchas gracias

Comfort and Class!
We moved to this hotel after staying two days in another option that wasn't working out for us. The staff here was very friendly, even going so far as to take a tray of breakfast to the room for my friend who was sick during our stay (which, by the way, the breakfast is delicious). The decor was lovely, and the room was very comfortable. It can get a little loud, as it is right off the Septima, but it's convenient and a quick walk to several restaurants and shops. I would love to stay here again if I ever return to Bogota!

Nice hotel in great location
The hotel is in an old house that has been divided into hotel rooms. I'd guess there are only about 10 rooms total. Rooms are nice, breakfast is OK (and included), and staff is helpful. It's in a very convenient part of town. This area is very near Bogota gayborhood, so it's great for gay folks, but really anyone (with money) will fit in fine in this part of town.

Mixed feelings
With only one day in Bogota for our Colombian adventure, we chose the Matisse Hotel as our very temporary base. Overall, pretty meh. What I didn't appreciate were the hidden fees. Our second stay was at the excellent Diez Catagoria hotel in Medellin for three nights. They charged us a tourism tax around 50.000 COP, and yet for only one night in the Matisse Hotel we were charged about the same... This strikes me as very odd. It amounted to about 30% on top of the room price, so keep that in mind - the hotel isn't really a budget option. The staff however were extremely patient in explaining things to us, so I do appreciate that. Oh, one thing - skip the breakfast, it's basically nonexistent. Oatmeal with no hot water, a few slices of white bread, a paltry amount of fruit... Come on. Everywhere else we've stayed in Colombia has had better breakfasts. One last tip: if you're not used to the altitude, bring something of headaches! You might be out of breath here and there too.

Приятные номера - лучше чем на фото, но есть без окон на улицу. Очень чисто - убираются по нескольку раз в день. Wi-Fi плохой - иногда совсем не работает. Обслуживание среднее. Пытались развести на налог 16% для колумбийцев.

Worth a visit.
The traffic noise takes a little getting used to but most hotels in Zona G suffer from the same problem. The rooms were always very clean and the staff could not do enough for you, 24 hours a day someone was available to help. The breakfast that was included was also veery good and served with a smile!

Lovely hotel in a great area.
We stayed for 8 nights whilst at a language school. Great location within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Safe neighbourhood. Lovely hotel with an excellent breakfast. Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were always smiling and helpful.

El hotel se encuentra en perfectas condiciones, habitaciones amplias y limpias. El desayuno es abundante y bien preparado. En los alrededores hay cafeterías boutique, lugares atractivos para comer, así como para escuchar jazz en vivo. Aunque retirado del centro está bien conectado a través de la Carrera Séptima para ir al sur o norte de la capital colombiana.

Todo estuvo muy bien, limpieza, servicio, comodidad etc, lo único es que de noche se escucha todo el tránsito de personas que hay en el pasillo lo cual incomoda un poco para dormir.

Thanks for staying with us. In Bogotá it´s normal to not have AC in the rooms, as it´s never to warm in the city.

The Matisse is fine. Its not quite so charming as the ñame my suggest. The staff is perfectly nice but it did sometimes feel they were a little easily befuddled. But it was during the World Cup. Maybe everyone was just distracted.

Staff great, room not so much
In first floor rooms the bathroom ceiling has an opening to the outside which makes the whole room pretty cold. Thankfully there was plenty of hot water in shower because the solution to a leaky hot water faucet in the sink was to shut off the hot water rather than repair it. The room and bathroom were dark in early evening and one lamp was shooting sparks from the plug. No extra toilet paper is provided in the room, so if it runs out at night you're out of luck. No facial tissues either. The lamp was replaced, I was offered an electric heater and a room change, but why were there so many issues not previously resolved? Again, wonderfully helpful staff once I brought these issues to their attention. Great breakfast. Internet was unreliable. For the price I would expect to not shiver, to have all things fully functional, and have more than a 20 watt bulb in the bathroom.

Nice hotel were you feel as home.
The hotel is a small, classy hotel where you are treated as home. Breakfast is make when you ask for it so you always have a made for you breakfast.

A nice and cozy hotel
I stayed one night at this hotel. It is a very cozy and nice hotel. The bed was super comfy and the room was nice. a bit cold in the room. The staff was very nice and attentative. I would stay here again.
