This was our 3rd stay here. The first two were great. This last trip, we had quite a hike to our room from the lobby because one elevator wasn't working. After a day of playing with our 2 year old granddaughter, it sometimes felt like the room was miles away. We are returning and giving it another try, because everything else was great.

I liked the roominess of the room, gym, the clean pool, and hot tub.The breakfast was also a plus. I didn't like the long walk with luggage in tow.

Someone tried coming into my room at 945am knocked once didn’t say housekeeping or anything the privacy sign was on the outside of my door we weren’t due to check out until 12pm there is no reason he should of been trying to get in my room & he continued to keep trying to open the door it’s a good thing the door stopper was up I was getting in the shower if I didn’t have that on he could of just walked in on me in the shower huge privacy concern for sure!!! Not happy about this at all my boyfriend finally went and opened the door in a towel like can I help you?! He just said I was just making sure everything was okay 🤔 kind of suspicious being only a girls name being on the room makes you wonder what he wanted in the room for at 945am I still had 2 hours & 15 min until checkout I tried contacting general management about this multiple times with no success on them answering the phone so I had to reach out to corporate office to talk to someone to voice my privacy concerns

Upon arrival, the hotel seemed nice! Until: the toilet didn't flush, we didnt have a remote, the pull out bed cushion had a poop stain on the under-side, there was a thick coat of dust on the tv stands, the pool area was dingy, the breakfast was low quality, there were very suspicious looking "guests" all throughout the hotel, and to top it off, the guy at the front desk said he didn't have the ability to print us out a room receipt!!?! For being a Hilton, they need to step it up...BIG TIME

Overall this was a good experience, besides a few small things that could be improved. Let's start with the negatives: The check in left me a little unhappy and not a good start. An older man and super young girl checked me in. He didn't smile once and She seemed very new and following his lead. A hilton property should come with a friendly welcome. Don't be in customer service if you can't even fake a smile for customers. The breakfast was one of the worst. Very fake eggs, soggy potatoes, stale bread. I would skip eating here. The tub could use some more cleaning around the water spout and the conditioner dispenser was broken and set on the edge. The pool being 24 hours is cool, but also not in the sense that there is constantly children in the hot tub and adults cannot relax. There should be a time for children to leave and adults only or no kids in the hot tub. The positive: the rooms are extremely spacious. The property feels safe and secure. A full kitchinette with pans and dishes and a full fridge. The AC stays on and makes noise which was nice to drown out the footsteps above me. One of the light bulbs was flickering in the kitchen when I arrived and maintenance was quick to fix it. The room are dark, which I loved and was great for sleeping in. The area feels safe. The boise spectrum area with food and movies very close by. This location is central to most things in Boise including downtown and the airport and under 15 mins from the village in meridian.

Broken Elevator and Bathroom Handle
It took about 10 minutes to check in and I was the only one at the desk. My wife came in wondering what had happened to me. I had to provide my credit card twice for incidentals. Right at the end of checking in I was told the elevators were not functioning at the moment. My wife had to climb 4 flights with a bad knee. The next morning the handle to the Bathroom door fell right off. I told the front desk at check out and they said all they could do was award me more points via the Hilton Honors App.

Not a bad place to stay at! Love that they have a little homey set up. The only complaint I have is the pet fee online was not an accurate amount and I ended up spending way more for my pet then I expected too. I am glad that they except pets but the pet fee....way more then some other places charge.

It's was the absolute worst experience I've ever had, myo reserved room was an hour late of being ready. The staff has not clue on service animal's front desk clerk stood there at called me lier. And was determined on changing &75.00 dep. For my service dog. The hotel lacks preventive maintenance. I'll never stay at Homewood suites every again

Great value - great for families
This is our first time staying at this hotel, while visiting family. I was surprised at the value for what you get! A king sized room with separate living room, an almost- full sized kitchen (full size fridge, dishwasher, two stoves, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker), just not oven. It was great! The hot tub and pool were open 24 hours which is a huge plus. The pool was on the colder side— ok for the kids but not for me! Haha. The breakfast was actually pretty good. We will likely stay here again!
