“I stayed at Alpine Lodge for two nights and paid over $700 for what was advertised as a "Superior King" room. Don't be fooled by the name—this is essentially a regular, modest motel room.
There is no reception desk. When you arrive, you can't even access your room until you receive a text or email with a link, complete the online registration, and then wait for the door code. After a long drive, this is far from a welcoming check-in experience. The room was supposedly "renovated," but there...

“Host Leslie was concerned about having us stay in Glamp Bernice during the 30-degree night, so she offered a heated cabin instead, which was pure delight. It is beautifully built and decorated, fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies (except we couldn't find pot holders or dish towels), and provided spectacular views through the many large windows. And it was WARM!”
