“Our plane was almost two hours late and we were still met by driver who picked us up at 1am. We had the two bedroom cabin and were only there for six hours it was clean and functional. Breakfast was fresh and eggs made how we chose. Close to airport. Great service and value. Thank you for taking care of us. Janet ”

“I stayed at Mount Meru Game Lodge before embarking on a 2-week safari and after 24 hours in the air. It was a wonderful place to unwind and sleep well before the trip. The location was convenient, the staff very friendly and helpful, the price was fair, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the setting was special having been a former sanctuary for game animals. Also, there was an onsite massage spa which was excellent.”

“The location of this lodge is amazing, offering a serene setting to enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania when not on safari. The lodge sits on the edge of a marsh and gave us multiple terrace options (including a private one attached to our room) to do some bird watching. While there , we saw the African fish eagle and Black-and-white cascade hornbill, songbirds too many to count, along with some visiting Vervet monkeys. “I really enjoyed my stay. This is a discount B&B with good service and spacious rooms. If you haven't been to Moshi yet, this hotel is slightly out of the town center. I would urge you to avoid the town center - it is really noisy and the air isn't good. On hot Tanzanian days, these things matter. The Secret Garden is adjacent to an open field and it is quiet. Also, the owner Daudi is an interesting person - ask him to tell you the story of this property - it's quite interesting!”
