“Gorgeous old Inn that is fairly well maintained to keep up with modern competition. We visited in the dead of winter so the quaint town of Chester, VT didn’t have a lot to offer. We plan on visiting again in the summer to get the full experience!”

“So be aware, YOU ARE PROBABLY NOT SLEEPING IN THE BEAUTIFUL MANSION. There is long ugly gray motel in the back, where the rooms actually are. Our host was lovely on check in & I kinda feel bad for this tepid review but as our friend said "this place has all the charm of a upscale Motel 6". Our room was clean & ok for a nights sleep though & the price was right for us. Room 24's bed had the DREADED "constantly roll into the middle of the mattress" SWALE in it, our friends said, so maybe they...

“We used to spend a good deal of time in ludlow . Recently my wife and I have been visiting about once per year. Back in the day we very much enjoyed the castle inn for its great food. We thoghtvwe would stay for a couple of nights. We hoped to ski one day. We went into the inn with a big ski bag and they wanted us to climb 3 levels with it. “Harvest Barn Inn was the perfect place to stay warm on a freezing Vermont winter weekend. We absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere - homemade cookies, endless tea, plenty of books, and beautiful views. The three-course weekend breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Blessing and Kaelan were very communicative and friendly hosts. ”

“Stayed at this resort for 4 nights while biking in the Vermont area. At check I had reserved a condo without ac but it was in the 90’s and the person checking me in offered to move me to the Inn which had same room set up with Kitchen etc and AC - That was Great!!! After morning riding my husband spent a few hours working while I enjoyed the fitness center as well as indoor and outdoor pools. Very few people here during June. ”
