Rilassati e goditi le spettacolari viste sulle montagne dai ponti di questa proprietà Blowing Rock unica nel suo genere! Un classico Mountain Round House è stato aggiornato e ampliato in un nido davvero affascinante con molti tocchi di casa.

Non appena entri nel livello principale, noterai immediatamente le splendide viste sulle montagne. Le finestre vicino al tavolo da pranzo offrono un ottimo punto di osservazione mentre vi godete il vostro pasto, e sarete sicuri di godervi i pasti nella grande cucina ben fornita con portabottiglie, elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e ripiani in granito.

Attraverso la cucina è la casa rotonda originale, completa con le travi a vista intricate. Oggi la casa rotonda è il punto di raccolta della cabina, e ha un accogliente soggiorno con mobili reclinabili in pelle, un camino log in pietra a gas, porte scorrevoli sul ponte e grande HDTV. Fuori dal soggiorno è una camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale e un bagno completo con vasca da bagno e doccia piastrellata separata. C'è anche una stanza bonus fuori dal soggiorno con un letto Murphy full-size e una HDTV.

Al piano di sotto è la spaziosa suite padronale. Questa camera dispone di un letto king-size, due ampi armadi, specchi a tutta altezza e una TV HD. Il bagno privato è dotato di vasca idromassaggio, doccia piastrellata separata e doppio lavabo. C'è anche una veranda a vetri fuori da questa camera da letto.

Immergiti nella splendida vista di Johns River Gorge dal ponte principale. Guarda i raptor librarsi in aria e immergerti nelle fresche correnti d'aria. Di notte, potrai facilmente avvistare le luci scintillanti della città di Blowing Rock. C'è anche una piccola zona di terreno erboso di livello per i membri a quattro zampe della famiglia.

Con tutto ciò che questa bellissima casa ha da offrire, potresti non voler mai andar via. Quando lo fai, ti troverai a soli 5 minuti dai negozi e ristoranti del centro di Blowing Rock, a 12 minuti da Boone ea soli due chilometri da Blue Ridge Parkway e Bass Lake. We loved the location, layout, and mountain view of this home. It was very clean. The communication from the Property Manager was clear and concise. We plan to rent this home in the future.

Nice and relaxing location

In a quiet area just outside of Blowing Rock, but not to far from town. It's also close to many hiking trails. The view is incredible assuming you don't get too much fog. The house was very clean and well stocked with basic items (e.g. toiler paper, towels, etc). The fireplace is also a nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again.

Better than the pictures!

This house was simply wonderful! The inside of the house far exceeded the images. I just loved the rustic, yet modern feel. The beams and wood ceiling are special. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and well equipped. Beds comfy. OK, now I have to mention the views. Yes that is plural. There are amazing views of the mountains from so many places in the house. You just drink it in from the dining room, kitchen, living room, upper level deck, lower level deck.... I highly recommend this property.

Spring 23

The location was perfect. The house was only a few miles from Blowing rock and the road went directly into blowing rock. Moses Cone and Julian Price parks were just a short ride away. Boone fork trail was beautiful. Grandfather mountain was about 15 minutes away. The view from the deck was spectacular. The mist rising from the mountains was worth getting up early to see. Other than there was no hangers to hang up your clothes , the house was well stocked. The bed were super comfortable. I sleep though the night for the first time in a long time. For the price we paid the house needed some repairs and could have been cleaner in one area. The closet door fell off and scared my wife. One of the outlets wasn't functioning . The downstairs indoor deck area needed cleaning. The glass insert in one of the cabinet doors was missing. And the house wasn't well lighted and dark in some areas. Overall we a great time visiting Blowing Rock.

Great location, amazing views, just a few issues

The bottom line is that this is a lovely cabin in a great location, and I'd happily stay here again. The view out the back is spectacular. The kitchen is nicely stocked, though if there's anything specific you need for a cooking project bring it with you. The couches upstairs are really nice. Getting in and out is kind of odd, as the front door leads to an incredibly long raised wooden walkway and the easiest way to get to your car is a sliding glass door in the second upstairs bedroom. We had a really nice time here. There are a few issues that need addressing. There are no curtains in the main room, and the sun tends to create a powerful glare if you're sitting on the bigger couch or trying to watch TV. The front door has a gap that lets a lot of cold air in during the winter months. The main bedroom upstairs is not really insulated, and it gets quite cold. There seems to be some sort of secondary heater in that room, but there are no directions for it and it's hard to figure out. The TV in the main room needs to be updated to something that has more HTML ports, and it would be good to have some basic instructions for it. Contacting the hosts was hard. I couldn't tell whether we were supposed to use VRBO or some other method, and we got some messages that indicated a lack of communication between the various entities involved in the place. Everyone was nice, but two times I asked simple questions that never got answered at all. All of this would be fairly easy to fix.

Great weekend

Clean home with great views. Got to see the sunrise every morning. A little trouble figuring out the living room TV remotes and channels, but wasn’t there to watch TV anyway.. Could have had more trash bags, but fantastic overall. Would definitely go back again.

Wonderful place!

We’ve stayed a number of places around Blowing Rock and this was one of our absolute favorites. The house is close to town, comfy and well stocked and the views from the back deck our gorgeous. Definitely hope to return!

I would recommend this property highly for anybody that was looking for a getaway week in the mountains. Plenty of room and very close to town and hiking trails.

Beautiful view and spacious accompanying

This was in a wonderful location. Only 3 miles from downtown Blowing Rock in an uncrowded rural area. Super easy to drive to and park. The view was spectacular and the cabin spacious and well appointed. We would definitely stay there again. It had a one touch fireplace which really set the mood.

Overall wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the house was in great condition. The only thing I would want to mention is that although I specified 6 people for total staying, they didn't provide enough towels for 6 people. We looked everywhere but they only provided for 4 people. Otherwise I thought this place was wonderful and we enjoyed staying in this house for our mountain trip!

Outstanding house!

We had a great time. The view is astounding...even better than you imagine from the pictures. The house's additions and modern upgrades are really well done. The path from the driveway to the door is basically flat with only one step if stairs are a concern. Also, the location is perfect...away from traffic but close to the parkway and was pretty centrally located in relation to all the things we wanted to do, so we were able spend more time doing things instead of driving back and forth. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Beautiful

House was perfect for our weekend getaway with our 16 month old son and two dogs. The views were amazing, we didn’t even want to leave the house during the day because the views were so gorgeous! House was exactly as described and we hope to return again in the Fall!!

Spring break getaway

The view was breath taking. We enjoyed watching the weather change from the gorgeous deck. The open layout and huge windows made for a picturesque visit even when it was too cold outside to enjoy the deck.

Perfect

We thought the house was perfect. It was very clean and wonderfully cozy. It was close to Appalachian Ski Resort, downtown Blowing Rock, and LOTS of hiking trails. My husband, 15 year old son, our dog and I stayed at the house, and we all loved it. We hope to rent again as soon as possible! ...Amazing view!!

Great view

The house and location were great but the follow through of the managing company is poor. We had to go to the store and get laundry detergent to wash the sheets on the down stairs bed as they were covered in hair, there was a huge clump of hair stuck in the shower drain also. Under the dining room table there were apparent stains of what appeared to be pet pee that had dried up, we cleaned up with wipes and the baking pans were filled with left overs stuck to them and there wasn’t any sponges to clean them with.The lighting in the kitchen and dining room is equivalent to night lights and impossible to see when the sun goes down. I put this all on the company managing the property as it is a beautiful home with fantastic views.
