The upstairs loft area that is divided into rooms, gets very hot as it has no ac/ventilation system. Hot tub jets do not work. Several light bulbs were out. Kitchen needs to be better stocked in order to cook a decent meal. Has lots of plates and bowls, but barely any serving/cooking utensils to cook with, no colander, no oven mitts. Drinking glasses are sparce unless you need a mug. Knives are sparce and extremely dull. Kitchen items need a revamp as many items are rusted or nonexistent. Lots of empty drawers in the kitchen. Cabin has a grill but no grilling tools to be able to use the grill. If you are planning on cooking much bring ur own items to do so. The one big cooking pot they had was broken. The leather couch needs to be replaced as the leather is so dry and worn it has become hard and scratchy. Cushions are flat and torn. We had to put a sheet on the couch to make it softer and not poke and scratch. Cabin itself was nice, just missing a lot of details that shouldn't be missed when paying a higher price. Cabin does have a lot of neighbors, so if you are looking for more privacy and views this would not be it. It is very close to downtown Boone and blowing rock.
