Charming Mountain Cabin Near Boone

Welcome to Poplar Hill Hideaway!

Poplar Hill Hideaway is a charming 3-bedroom mountain cabin just minutes from the heart of Boone. This home is convenient to local restaurants, unique local shopping, and necessities like grocery stores and gas stations. Access to an abundance of Blue Ridge favorites is within a 20-minute drive, including Appalachian Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, Sky Valley Zipline Tours, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Vineyard and Winery, the Tanger Outlets Shopping Mall of Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis Community Park, and much more. After a day of hiking, skiing, shopping, or sightseeing, come back to Poplar Hill Hideaway and take advantage of the wooded view while relaxing in the hot tub. Poplar Hill Hideaway is perfect for all seasons.

There is plenty of space indoors and out to enjoy this cozy hideaway. The main floor living room has a gas log fireplace, and the lower level has a family room with a large screen TV and a queen size sleeper sofa. There is a comfortable king bedroom on the main level and two cozy queen bedrooms on the lower level. The expansive kitchen has granite counters and stainless appliances with bar seating at either end. It opens to the dining area, accommodating a full house. Enjoy morning coffee on the expansive covered deck area with comfortable seating, including a porch swing day bed. Soak in the hot tub, dine outside, or gather around the chiminea fire pit for a relaxing evening in the mountains. Guests will be delighted to find two wooden porch swings overlooking the mountains under the deck.

A stay at Poplar Hill Hideaway includes amenities such as wifi, plenty of streaming options on the 3 TVs, plus Youtube TV, an arcade game, a laundry closet, and central heating and air for year-round comfort. There is a full sleeper sofa in the lower level family room. Up to two dogs are allowed with an additional pet fee. We strongly recommend being prepared for inclement weather with 4-wheel drive vehicles.

Arriving we found several items left from a previous party and overall lacking the cleanliness we desire. While the company worked to compensate us it put a negative spin to our stay. The location is ok and convenient to town but don’t expect privacy as it is on a busy road.

Relaxing Stay Near Boone Downtown

My family and I stayed at this lovely cabin near downtown Boone, NC, and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was incredibly relaxing, with a peaceful ambiance that made it easy to unwind. It was also spacious, offering plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. The bedrooms were especially comfortable, with soft beds and thoughtful touches that made for a great night’s sleep. Its convenient location near downtown Boone added to the experience, offering the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene retreat!

Wonderful stay at Poplar Hill Hideaway Cabin Stays

I recently stayed at Poplar Hill Hideaway and had an exceptional experience. The cabin is located in a beautiful, serene area that provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The interior was cozy and tastefully decorated, offering all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of the stay was the stunning views from the cabin front porch bed swing. The surrounding nature was breathtaking and we enjoyed spending time on the deck. However, it could have been cleaner, as there was a noticeable dust on the bed swing and on the furniture in the corridor. Clear instructions for check-in and check-out and ensuring we had we needed during our stay. The location also offered easy access to hiking trails, outdoor activities for kids and restaurants, which we enjoyed throughly. Overall, I highly recommend Poplar Hill Hideaway cabin for peaceful getaway. It was truly delighted experience, and I look forward to returning in the future.
