Confortevole e accogliente cottage di montagna situato a 2 miglia al largo della Blue Ridge Parkway ea 6,5 miglia da Jefferson. Roans Creek scorre direttamente sotto la casa fornendo il suono costante e melodico dell'acqua corrente mentre scende da una cascata di 12-15 piedi. La casa è stata completamente rinnovata. Cucina completamente attrezzata con tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici tra cui lavastoviglie, lavatrice e asciugatrice. Il tavolo della sala da pranzo può ospitare sei e un altro tavolo nell'area giochi adiacente può ospitare quattro. Soggiorno con camino a propano, tv via cavo, lettore dvd e comodi posti a sedere per tutta la famiglia. Tre camere da letto per sette persone (due letti matrimoniali, tre letti singoli). Una camera da letto ha la tv via cavo. Vengono forniti biancheria, tavolo da picnic e grill a gas. Meraviglioso portico coperto con vista su Roans Creek. Garage disponibile per due veicoli disponibili. Fornito anche WiFi, giochi, libri, puzzle, film e pack-n-play. Riscaldatori a propano e camino riscaldano comodamente la casa. È disponibile un telefono fisso per chiamate di emergenza e chiamate in entrata illimitate. Non sono ammessi animali o fumo all'interno, per favore.
Molto da fare nella zona. Attrazioni turistiche fantastiche, lo shopping della via principale della città e il quartiere dell'arte nella vicina West Jefferson. Azienda vinicola Thistle Meadow nelle vicinanze. Le attività di Blue Ridge Parkway e New River includono: escursionismo, mountain bike, picnic, canoa, tubing e pesca.

These hosts thought of everything! Fully equipped kitchen complete with coffee and ice, extra blankets, sheets and towels, and a guidebook telling you where everything is located as well as menus from local restaurants and close-by activities. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space for larger parties/families.

As always, the best place to stay!! I have been staying here a lot due to my job beeing in Jefferson and I have never experienced an uncomfortable stay. The hosts are just as beautiful as the scenery and their home. I don’t think I could express enough on how much I love coming here!!!

Family weekend

Great place to enjoy family. All amenities are there, quiet and easy access to Jefferson. Parks are great for kids and scenery is beautiful. Owner’s are very nice and helpful. This was my third rental because it’s all we need.

Country cottage stay

Very comfortable cottage, feels like home. Convenient to town, parks for kids in town. Plus yard around house is spacious. Plenty of amenities in house to make stay easy. This is a repeat stay for us.

Cute and Cozy Farmhouse

We had a great stay. The house is exceptionally clean and neat. The owners were good at communicating with us and making sure we had everything we needed. The property is very peaceful. There was enough space for our family to have a comfortable stay.

Fishing trip at an amazing cabin

We headed up to the cabin for a weekend fishing trip to the Roan creek. The creek ran right through the property and an amazing waterfall that gives great ambiance when enjoying the deck. We caught a lot of trout touring Roan Creek and the cabin was in the perfect spot for all of our activities. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and they keep the property extremely clean which made our stay so enjoyable

Holiday trip

Our family of four enjoyed this wonderful property over Thanksgiving. The home is great, location perfect and the owners are super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this property. We enjoyed the Christmas tree farms close by and the Roan river out front is awesome.

Beautiful and Peaceful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It could not have been better. The owners have done an amazing job at making sure everything you need and more is there. We did not miss the AC at any point. It is cool and with the windows open, it was heavenly. The waterfall can be heard from almost any room in the house. We really enjoyed the back porch. It was a relaxing, wonderful stay and we will be back!

Country Cottage in NC Mountains

My family and I had a nice stay at this home. The home is near a stream, which you can hear when you open the windows. If, like me, you don’t pay attention when originally booking to the fact the home does not have air conditioning, for our trip in late April/early May we found it was truly not needed because of the elevation. Just open up the windows (which have screens). One thing just to note if you have a lot of tall people in your group, the upstairs is best for kids or those who are more petite. Any folks over 6 feet tall will need to duck a bit in the shower. These should not dissuade you from renting the home, but may be helpful in planning where certain family members sleep. We found the living room very comfortable and enjoyed exploring the hill behind the home, where we briefly glimpsed a rabbit in the woods. Thank you to the owners for sharing this home with their guests.
