Welcome to Our High Country Farmhouse

Located on a beautiful former Arabian horse farm, our spacious 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home offers the perfect blend of mountain charm, comfort, and convenience.

Centrally located to many of the High Country’s restaurants, attractions, and outdoor adventures, you can spend your days exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and return home to a peaceful, comfortable retreat.

After a day of adventure, relax in the family room beside the cozy fireplace, unwind in the fireplace-equipped primary suite, or enjoy your favorite show on the big-screen TV. The home also features high-speed Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.

And if you still have some energy after exploring the mountains, bring your tennis shoes and enjoy a game of tennis on our private on-property tennis court!

The Space

Our home is located approximately ¾ mile past the hospital on Deerfield Road, nestled in the heart of a beautiful former Arabian horse farm. The peaceful setting provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the High Country while remaining conveniently close to town.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire home, as well as the surrounding grounds.

As you explore the property, you may catch a glimpse of some of our local wildlife, including a rafter of wild turkeys or a herd of deer passing through the farm.

Guests are also welcome to enjoy the tennis court on the property. Proper tennis/court shoes are required for use of the court.

Convenient parking is available just outside the “back door.” With only a few steps from the parking area to the house, unloading luggage and groceries is easy and convenient.

Pets:
We’re happy to welcome your pet to the farmhouse. Our property offers beautiful, spacious grounds where you’re welcome to enjoy a leisurely walk and take in the mountain surroundings together.

For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, we kindly ask that pets remain on a leash while outdoors, are not left unattended on the property, and that pet waste be promptly picked up and placed in the large outdoor trash receptacle provided

To help us preserve the farmhouse and maintain the same level of comfort and cleanliness for every guest, we ask that pets remain OFF all beds and furniture. We also ask that pets not be left unattended inside the home for extended periods of time.

Our standard house policy allows for one small dog under 20 pounds per stay with added $50. Contact owner if you have additional questions.

Events & Additional Property Use

The historic barn and additional farm grounds are available to reserve separately for special events, including:

Family reunions
Corporate gatherings
Birthday celebrations
Bridal or baby showers
Other special events

A Few Things to Note

Tennis: Proper tennis/court shoes are required to use the tennis court.
