Nuovissimo Owl's Nest, questa casa pet-friendly si trova a circa venti minuti dal centro di Blowing Rock e quindici minuti dalla Blue Ridge Parkway! Questa casa è anche una bella guida di quindici minuti a Mountain Grandfather, e solo trenta minuti sia da Sugar Ski Resort e Appalachian Ski Mountain!

Sentiti come a casa appena entri nell'ingresso e vieni accolto dall'ampio soggiorno e dai panorami mozzafiato delle montagne, incluso Misty Mountain. Assicurati di approfittare del telescopio nel soggiorno per vedere The Blowing Rock! Rilassarsi la sera davanti al camino a legna, mentre lo chef di famiglia prepara la cena nella cucina gourmet. O prendere il tramonto mozzafiato la sera, mentre arrostire marshmallow nel camino esterno sul ponte principale. Situato al piano inferiore sono due camere da letto, una con una regina e l'altra con due set di letti a castello per i bambini con un bagno in comune con vasca / doccia combo. L'accogliente camera da letto padronale king si trova fuori dal soggiorno con un bagno privato con vasca e doccia step-in. L'ultima camera da letto si trova al piano superiore con un letto matrimoniale. Tutti i bagni dispongono di asciugacapelli forniti dai proprietari di casa. Questa magnifica casa può ospitare fino a dieci persone, perfetta per una riunione di famiglia o un ritiro di amici. Visita la Blue Ridge e vivi la lussuosa vita di montagna a Owls Nest.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful this property is! The modern design and amenities, the extraordinary views, the proximity to all the best towns along the Blue Ridge Pkwy… it was a dream! We were there as the leaves were starting to turn for Fall. Close to Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, and accessible to Boone. I highly recommend Owl’s Nest for friend and family gatherings.

Overall cleanliness was fine, although we couldn’t check in early because of maintenance. “Maintenance” being done although the upstairs fan remote in the bedroom did not work, nor did the one down stairs. Dead mouse laying on the bricks at the outside seating area and fire place. Refrigerator would not keep cold hardly at all.

Beautiful view, we were able to have a perfect view of the sunrise in the mountains. The lodge is quiet and secluded. A perfect size for 2 or 3 families to spend time! Thank you to the management for and early check in.

Absolutely incredible

Stunning views in a beautiful cabin. Property was clean and had all the essentials -- about 15 minutes away from stores and supplies, which made it feel more remote. We will look to stay here on future trips!

The VIEWS!!!

This cabin was everything we wanted in a weekend getaway in the mountains. The views off both decks and most rooms were absolutely breathtaking. The house was very clean and the management checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic house!!

This house was beautiful and perfect for two families with small children. There was lots of space for us to spread out and we loved the outdoor space as well. And let's not forget the view-- stunning!!! We also loved how close we were to great hikes and other activities. We would definitely book this house again!!

Gorgeous view with lots of space

We had a wonderful time having a girls weekend here. Very chilly but we were happy to still get use out of the hot tub. The driveway is very steep and the road overall was well maintained and clear. The showers had some stuff on the ground and the drain in one was very clogged. We also had to hunt to find hand soaps for some of the bathrooms. Other than that we had a great time. The kitchen is spacious and had everything we needed. When the weather is clear, the view can't be beat!

Beautiful stay!

Views were breathtaking. Spent mostly all of our time sitting outside by the fireplace, cooking dinner in the kitchen, playing pool and playing games in the basement. Everything was clean and perfect, other than a chair leg half broken, a few small stains in the carpet from other dogs, dust and dog hair by the window sills and doors. Needs to be vacuumed and checked between crevices more. Other than those small inconveniences, everything was amazing.

Amazing mountain view

The home was perfect and the view was amazing. The home could use a more thorough cleaning (floors and dusting) but it would not prevent me from staying again. We enjoyed the view and would definitely stay here again.

Breathtaking Mountain View

The view is absolutely stunning! We loved waking up to the sun rising over the mountains, enjoying sweeping mountain views from just about every room in the house. We got lots of use out of the outdoor fireplace and the hottub. One of the best vacations ever!

Owl’s Nest is a beautiful home with unbelievable views! A fireplace on the deck and hot tub made for many relaxing and enjoyable evenings! Managers of property made sure we had everything we needed! Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home

The house was truly spectacular and the view was amazing! Had everything you could need for a weekend getaway. As previous reviewers may have said, the house could have been cleaned more meticulously. Lots of dust on top of certain surfaces that were obviously overlooked and under the beds. Wifi did not work and tv in the master bedroom did not work. However, despite these things I would still give this location an absolute 5 stars and would not hesitate to go back. It was truly a wonderful location for our family getaway.

Remote, but not too remote. Awesome house

We stayed the week between Christmas and new years 2019. House is as described. Cool hiking right outside the house. Kitchen was well stocked, I do recommend bringing a few things if you plan to do a lot of cooking at home during your stay, ie: Good non stick skillet, eggs and such, a big pot, homemade soup and such. The real wood fireplace is an absolute must for us. there was plenty of fire wood. Almost all of these type of cabin rentals recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter, This one is an absolute must if you think it will ice or snow during your stay. I recommend Owl's Nest.

Loved The Owls Nest

a multi-generational vacation!

My 16 year old niece penned a nice note before leaving, so maybe she says it best: "Wow is all our family has to say about this place. It truly is magical! The best memories that will be engraved in our minds forever, will be the sunrises on the top deck. It's hard to explain why, but to be able to sit and stare at the landscape in front of you is amazing, and to see and hear the birds chirping and flying by is a testament to life here in the mountains. Everything about the house was absolutely perfect and supreme, the only issue is that we had to leave. It was a perfect get away for family, and I wish we could have stayed longer. This place truly is a treasure." From an adult perspective I'd agree completely. Great location, maybe 20 min to downtown Blowing Rock and 20 min to Grandfather Mountain. The views are spectacular from sunrise and beyond sunset, with lots of space on either deck to take it all in. The neighborhood is peaceful, the setting relaxing. The house itself is clean, comfortable and spacious, and perfectly laid out. i.e. plenty of space for adults and plenty of space for kids, but plenty of space for all of us to be together as well! I couldn't have asked for a better set up in any way. We look forward to returning one day soon for a longer visit!

Hoping for better

Owl's Nest is a beautiful property. The best feature of this cabin is the back deck with a fireplace and a spectacular view. Plenty of room and most everything you could need is made available. We appreciated being able to bring our dog. If quiet and privacy are what you are looking for, then this is the perfect property. However, our search for a clean cabin in the Boone/Blowing Rock area continues. Minimal cleaning had been done before our stay. When spending a lot of money per night I think it is reasonable to expect a thoroughly clean property.
