Fuggi dal tran tran quotidiano in questo caratteristico cottage che si trova su Pigeon Roost Creek situato a pochi minuti dal centro di Banner Elk e Valle Crucis! Scroll Rock si trova a circa 4200 piedi di altitudine e offre temperature fresche e fresche durante tutto l'anno. Questa cabina a due piani ha un interno recentemente ristrutturato che include una stufa a legna Vermont Castings e una cucina completamente attrezzata e zona pranzo. L'area al piano superiore offre una camera da letto con un letto king-size, un divano letto doppio e un bagno con cabina doccia. All'esterno troverete un bellissimo avvolgente porticato che si affaccia sul torrente! Goditi la bella serata nella vasca idromassaggio o accanto a un caminetto mentre ammiri tutto ciò che il Paese Alto ha da offrire. Scroll Rock è a soli 10 minuti in auto dal centro di Banner Elk e Valle Crucis. La località sciistica di Beech Mountain dista 20 minuti in auto e la località sciistica di Sugar Mountain si trova a 15 minuti in auto. Sono in arrivo tantissime avventure piene di divertimento!

Il vialetto è arato in inverno, ma i veicoli 4WD o AWD sono necessari da novembre a marzo, e le catene potrebbero anche essere necessarie per accedere a tutte le proprietà nei mesi invernali. New Years at Scrollrock

I can’t say enough about this cabin! It was exactly as depicted on the site AND MORE. My daughters (8 & 9) had the time of their lives. We hiked and explored the property with our dog and were in the stream every day. It was freezing but the hot tub in the back deck and gas stove inside kept us all toasty. We were scheduled to stay 5 nights and ended up extending an extra 2 days. It was secluded but close enough to lots of attractions and cute shops/diners. The upstairs is absolutely adorable and was the perfect space for the three of us (traveling with girls and their suitcases….haha) to spread out and have our own space. We loved the rustic and authenticity of the original wood displayed throughout the cabin and decor. It was a breath of fresh air and serenity for this “post Christmas” single mom!

Amazing Attention to Detail

This was one of the cutest places I have seen among short term rentals. The attention to detail inside the cottage and in the beautiful gardens was amazing. Also, so close to downtown Black Mountain and Asheville is just 15 minutes away. You gotta check it out!

Disappointed.

We were excited after hearing how great this place was. Unfortunately the cleaning crew didn't do their job. There were hairs all over and a used bar of soap in the shower. The shower mat was filthy. There were also dog and human hairs on the sheets as well as makeup stains on the pillowcases. The blanket on the bed had a big streak of something on it as well. Luckily we were able to change the bedding. We contacted the rental place and they sent a cleaner the next morning. The cleaner changed the shower mat and took the dirty bedding with them but when we went to shower that night there were still hairs all over the shower.

Wonderful retreat to enjoy with your pet

Cozy cabin with everything you need . We loved the property and the upstairs bedroom suite was perfect . Our pup loved the grounds and wading in the creek . Off the beaten path for sure . We brought plenty of food to cook on the grill which worked great . Jacuzzi was a bonus . Exceeded expectations

Creek side retreat… secluded and quiet

This house was a perfect stay for hiking and exploring the mountains in the summer. The creek was beautiful but the hot tub was not working. Great location and hidden from it all. There was an odor downstairs but the window and door was opened to air it out. The back porch was wonderful; would definitely stay again!

Cozy Cabin!

My husband and I had a great time! The cabin was perfect. Had everything we needed and is in such a pretty location. It was very fun to be in the hot tub with it being so cold outside! And we also ran from the hot tub to the creek for a brief dip in that cold water. We slept well in the comfortable bed and only wish we had another day to stay. We would love to come back in different seasons too.

Riverside Retreat

Cozy Cabin Retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin even though we had to cut our stay short due to abnormally cold winter weather. It was so cold that one of the ski resorts closed and the pipes in the cabin froze, so we didn’t have running water. The cabin was nice though, and we might try staying there again and hope for better weather.

Cozy spot well located

My wife and I were in the area for just a couple of days on business but wanted to stay off the beaten path. This cabin was perfect. It was cozy, clean and comfortable. We were only there at night so we didn't get to enjoy the outside but the features touted online were all there. Would definately stay again.

Excellent Mountain Stay

We had such a phenomenal time at Scrollrock. The property is secluded and offers great privacy. On the grounds you can take advantage of the hot tub, creek, fire pit, and all the amenities of home to include cooking dinner if you'd like. Despite temperatures in the teens overnight the cabin stayed nice and warm. Additionally, the views on the drive to and from the cabin are spectacular. You're also about a 30 minute drive to Boone and just a little farther to Blowing Rock, both of which offer shopping and local eateries. This location has my highest endorsement, especially for couples of all ages looking for a quiet, beautiful get-a-way.

I loved staying at this cabin. Adorable, charming, cozy... We even found a bear paw print on the trash bin the last morning! There are no negatives from this experience. Also, the laundry soap used for the linens smells amazing. ❤️

Secluded piece of paradise

Wow!!! This place was incredible. Picture perfect getaway in the mountains, yet just minutes from downtown Banner Elk. If you’re looking for that special place, this is it. Cabin was well equipped for everything we needed. Loved waking up in the morning to the sound of the creek that runs through the property. Highly recommend!

Very clean with plenty of amenities. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet and relative seclusion. Close enough to town to also enjoy restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed visiting 3 local wineries on our visit. We will certainly book another stay at Scrollrock.
