  • Accogliente casa invitante! Completamente rinnovato! Re letto in una camera da letto e un letto matrimoniale nell'altra e ognuno ha un bagno completo separato. Godetevi l'open space con uno schermo piatto o semplicemente guardate il camino (propano). Crogiolatevi nella tranquillità del portico coperto o rilassatevi godendovi la vista dal ponte posteriore. La cucina è attrezzata e la piattaforma offre una griglia. Strade asfaltate dentro e fuori e un vialetto di ghiaia in un quartiere tranquillo e poco rumore della strada. A pochi minuti dal centro di West Jefferson, e 25 miglia a Boone. Grande pesca entro un miglio.

Great Stay

The cabin is great, we’ve really enjoyed the view of the pasture. The kitchen is set up very nicely for cooking, plenty of everything needed. We used the grill tonight and that was very nice to have available.

We provided the house to my wife's parents as a gift. Everything was as advertised, communication was great from the property owner, and they had a great time at the property for a weekend getaway.

Fantastic

Don’t have one complaint about our stay here. The home was immaculate when we arrived communication before during after our trip was fantastic. Beautiful view and a beautiful drive to any location you wanted to go to. Would absolutely rent this home again if I was in the area.

GREAT QUIET MOUNTAIN GET AWAY

Kathy and Jeff are great hosts. Their home is immaculate and well stocked. There is a beautiful view from the dek and the surrounding area offers a slow paced mountain experience. A short drive to Boone.

Great location for Ashe County

Took my MIL for a short trip. Handicap shower was perfect for our situation. Location was great for sites of Ashe County, including Lansing, Weat Jefferson and Glendale springs.

Relaxation

Kathy & Jeff are the ultimate hosts! They truly do care if you enjoy your stay and are responsive to any questions. If you are looking for a house without steps, the house is true to the pics on line, super clean, safe neighborhood, and a back deck to sip coffee and clear your mind….look no further…you have found the perfect getaway.

Amazing Place!

This cottage was a perfect place for us to rest and relax while our children were camping at New River State Park. It was clean, more than adequately furnished, and the views were wonderful! It was an easy trip to town or the campsite. Kathy and Jeff were very responsive and helpful, and check-in was a cinch. We will stay there again if in the area. Thank you, Kathy and Jeff!

Review of location

Once we drove into the neighborhood I was a little surprised but once you get in the place it’s very nice. King bed sleeps very well. Snacks were great! They had other things in kitchen and bathrooms that made it very convenient. The back deck has a very nice view of mountains.

Perfect hotel alternative close to town & nature

We came for a wedding and opted for this property over the proposed hotel stay at wedding rate. Great decision! The beds were super comfy. The bathrooms and kitchen were so nice and stocked with all you need. The outside deck in the mornings where we listened to birds and had coffe was great. The owner is an excellent communicator... Would stay here again. Recommend to others.

Slice of heaven

This property was the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The beds/sheets were heavenly. The decor and furnishings made the cottage very cozy and relaxing. The location was convenient to nearly everything we wanted to visit. The only disadvantage was the lack of a mountain view due to 2-3 trees .If they were removed, the view of the mountains would be spectacular. Nevertheless, I would rent this cottage again in a minute! The owners were delightful as well. Already want to come back.

Pristine pasture views!

This property has everything you need as far as supplies and accessories. The view from the deck is fabulous. It is in a subdivision, so it is not remote. Quick drive to West Jefferson.

Perfect Weekend

We were tubing in Todd all day Saturday and this was the perfect place to spend Friday and Saturday evening! The house was super clean, comfortable, and had the best view from the back deck!! Kathy and Jeff were in constant contact and provided us with lots of great information for the local area. Thank you so much. We will be back next summer!!

Awesome cottage

We found the cottage to be super clean and tastefully decorated. It also smelled good. The host, Kathy was amazing. We only slept in the master bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The view out back was beautiful. We saw lots of cows, one wild Turkey, hummingbirds and butterflies. We are city people so this country setting made for a relaxing week. The cottage is in a neighborhood so you do have houses all around but the backyard/deck is secluded so you do have plenty of privacy.

Fun at Buffalo Cottage!

We had such an outstanding trip to Buffalo Cottage. The house was immaculate and everything we needed and then some was there! It was a good place to stay because so many things are within driving distance. West Jefferson, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and Valle Crusis. The neighborhood is very quiet except for the occasional rooster growing! The Mountain View out of the sliding glass doors was beautiful. Kathy and Jeff were great hosts and were very responsive to any and all questions. We would certainly recommend Buffalo Cottage as a great place to stay. Hopefully we will be able to return in the fall!.

Perfect Getaway Cottage

Property was exactly as portrayed online. Super clean and well stocked. King bed was comfortable, water pressure in master bath shower was good with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed the view of the cows in the meadow from the deck. Short drive to downtown West Jefferson and other places such as The Churches of the Frescoes, Mt. Jefferson State Recreation Area, Lansing, Boone and Blowing Rock. Hosts Jeff and Kathy thought of everything and were quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. Check-in was a breeze. We will not hesitate staying at Buffalo Cottage next time we are in the area.

Beautiful view

Kathy and Jeff are the ultimate hosts. Kathy stayed in touch making sure everything was okay and that we were comfortable. The house is exactly as pictured. It had all that we needed and more. Great accommodations. The view from the back deck was gorgeous as we arrived at peak foliage season. The mountaintops looked ablaze at sunrise. We enjoyed watching the cows and hearing the rooster crow. It's 35-45 minutes from Blowing Rock, Boone, and Blue Ridge Parkway. A great getaway to visit with our daughter. Thanks, Kathy and Jeff!

Wonderful stay at Buffalo Cottage

The hosts at Buffalo Cottage go the extra mile to assure that guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The level of communication with the owner surpassed any we have ever experienced! Not only did Kathy provide information about a local restaurant we had heard about, she even drove by the restaurant the morning before we arrived to make sure it would be open for service by the time we arrived! The cottage was extremely clean and provided everything we needed…and more. And the view from the kitchen window should be put on a postcard! The route to this location is a bit twisty, but it is centrally located between Jefferson and Lansing. We highly recommend Buffalo Cottage and look forward to a return trip.
