Gemma nascosta sull'isola di Westport

Situato su un'isola con una privacy boschiva, un percorso per il nostro molo privato di acque profonde e in 10 minuti di Route 1, la nostra casa vi accoglie a Mid-Coast Maine.
Abbiamo un letto matrimoniale al primo piano; letto matrimoniale al piano superiore e un letto matrimoniale nella terza camera situata al piano superiore. La nostra casa dorme privatamente 5 ma un sesto spazio è disponibile su un comodo divano letto doppio nel nostro loft al piano di sopra. Cucina completamente attrezzata con forno, piano cottura, forno a microonde, tostapane, macchina per il caffè, bollitore e cucina. Conserviamo olio d'oliva, aceto, condimenti e tè e caffè. Abbiamo due bagni e una lavatrice / asciugatrice se ne avete bisogno.
La nostra ampia terrazza con vista sul fiume Sheepscot offre splendidi panorami. Molti uccelli vivono nella nostra zona - tra cui un picchio pileated!
Due spiagge sabbiose, molti negozi, ristoranti e gallerie, oltre a un negozio di alimentari ben fornito, si trovano a 10 - 30 minuti da Rocky Road. Portland, la città più grande vicino a noi, è facilmente raggiungibile in auto con tutte le sue offerte culturali.

Had a great week’s stay at Rocky Road. Location is private, quiet and remote, nestled in the woods, but centrally located by many hiking trails, attractions and restaurants within a short drive. The view of the river was incredible. My favorite spot was the sunroom early in the morning and watching the boats go by sipping mimosas in complete peace and quiet. Everything you need is available to you. Air conditioning was a plus since there was a heat wave for a few days. Beds are comfortable and many games available to pick from. A small trail at the end of the road within walking distance was a nice bonus after dinner without having to leave by car. The path to the river and dock is steep but doable and amazing for watching sunrises. Carol was very responsive with any questions. Had no issues with the house and felt as though we owned the place. Thanks for a wonderful stay Carol.

We rented for a girl's family vacation. It was a great base location for our trip. It was very well stocked with everything you could think of needing. We were able to relax in the evening with puzzles and a movie. Highly recommended. Communication was excellent!

This was our first time using Vrbo & this stay definitely raised the bar. Snowed while we were here. Amazing views with sun coming up over river & everything covered in snow. Wonderful space. Loved all the puzzles.

Hidden gem is the perfect way to describe this amazing property at 19 Rocky Rd on beautiful Westport Island! We stayed 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! Next time! We feel very blessed by the whole experience! Thank you owners!

This house was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway with friends. Carol was very responsive and answered all questions in a timely manner. House was well equipped with everything that we needed. Highly recommend staying here!

The house was lovely and well appointed. It felt like you were far from everything but then a short drive gets you to different kinds of places. Peaceful and relaxing to listen to the sounds of the woods, trails nearby, kayaking whenever you want at the house’s dock. Everyone enjoyed it.

This was our second stay at this vrbo. Wonderful view of the river, The most well equipped kitchen of any place we have stayed in Maine. Carol is a great host. Highly responsive to anything we need. So nice to be around the bend from the lobster co-op. Can't wait to come back to this restful serene cottage in mid-coast Maine.

Our experience at this cottage was among the best we've ever had. The house itself was appointed with everything you could want, and more. It was relaxing, inviting, charming, gorgeous (inside and out), and accessible to town while still feeling totally remote. We loved hearing loons down the river at night, and grilling local fish every day. The water in the river is highly invigorating to swim in! Having access to a canoe was so much fun for our family. We can't say enough good things about this incredible place. It's not often that we really want to go back to the same place, but with this spot, we do.

The cottage is in a wonderful location overlooking the Sheepscot River. We enjoyed the short walk to the Clough Preserve where we saw over fifty Lady Slippers among the ferns and trees. There are many nice outdoor spaces including a front lawn and a large deck facing the water. The sunroom was a great space to enjoy morning coffee or to read a book on a rainy afternoon.

Great location! Easy access to Route 1 while secluded with a nice overview of the water. Walk to trails along the river with great birds and wildlife including seals on seal rock. Very comfortable house with all the amenities needed.

My husband and I with our two teenagers were very comfortable and happy while staying at the cabin. I like that each of the kids had separate bedroom. The view was breath taken and it was very quiet the whole time we were there. My favorite feature was the full-size kitchen with plenty of cookware and condiments, especially many Asian kind. Carol was very attractive in communication and making sure we could get help and support if needed. The entertainment, such as board games and TV app, was provided and it was great. Hot water was impressively hot and almost instant. With permission, we were able to host our small family gathering for a wonderful family lunch. We are very happy with our trip and definitely will return to this vacation cabin in the future. :)
