Sea Lavender Cottage a Mid Coast Maine è pronto per essere gustato! Situato a pochi passi da Great Salt Bay a Newcastle. Questo cottage recentemente "coniato" sfoggia tocchi architettonici creativi, ampio stile e servizi incentrati sul cottage, arredi freschi che sono sia funzionali che stravaganti, tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici e dispositivi, un aspetto e un atteggiamento che invita e ispira un impegno rilassante con tutte le attività acquatiche della natura nella prima risorsa marina protetta del Maine. Condividete questa bellezza naturale con aquile, falco pescatore, aironi blu, lunatici, un sigillo occasionale, granchi preistorici a ferro di cavallo, allevamenti di ostriche e, in primavera, oltre un milione di alewi che passano sul molo per generarsi nelle acque dolci del vicino lago Damariscotta. I primissimi ospiti hanno affermato di venire ogni estate nel Maine per esplorare e scoprire tutte le attività uniche del Maine costiero e dei suoi villaggi. Eppure hanno trovato Sea Lavender Cottage così confortevole, pieno di gioia ed emotivamente appagante, non volevano andarsene ogni giorno .... tranne per lanciare i kayak e unirsi alla bellezza della baia. Ora è il tuo turno...

Sea Lavender Cottage è stato creato nel 2016 dai proprietari di Beckoning Bay Cottage, inaugurato nel 2009. Entrambi i cottage hanno occupato quasi tutto l'anno, principalmente con clienti abituali, e molte recensioni entusiaste. Con questi due cottage su proprietà adiacenti, più persone hanno l'opportunità di godere dei numerosi amuleti di Mid Coast Maine, l'ambiente rilassante di Great Salt Bay e l'accesso nelle vicinanze alla US Route One.
L'MBR è molto grande con un letto matrimoniale e un bagno privato. Il secondo BR è meno spazioso ma ha un letto full size e un bagno completo direttamente adiacente.

The cottage was wonderful and David was very welcoming. Everything we needed with great views and close to town. There is something special about watching a gorgeous sunrise from bed. The gas fireplace made the livingroom cozy in the chilly fall weather.

Our stay was perfect from the moment our host met us at the property and gave us a complete tour, until we left on the last day.The tasteful and beautiful touches were fantastic. We enjoyed the sunrises, the wildlife, kayaking, playing pool, playing the piano, cooking in the well equipped kitchen and reading on the deck.We are already planning a return trip.

Relaxing family vacation in mid-Coast Maine

They say you can't go home again, but if you're a native returning to Maine (like us), you can come pretty close to it by staying at the Sea Lavender Cottage!We were four adults and an infant and there was plenty of room inside and outside. The Cottage is exceedingly clean and tastefully furnished and decorated. The views from the deck are stunning and we spent a lot of time with the provided binoculars watching the antics of the wildlife on the tidal river. We also used the kayaks to explore much the area. The Cottage is located nearby to the very charming town of Damariscotta. That region of state offers many nice attractions for coastal day trips.David is an exceptional and kind host. He made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. He gave us a quick tour of the property when we checked in and offered helpful tips for our visit. When we left, he was interested in any feedback regarding our stay. We hope to stay there again.

Maine Waterfront Cottage was perfect in all ways. The cottage was beautiful, no detail was left out. From the spectacular views to the spacious accommodations, it was the perfect retreat. So easy to get to town for great food and shopping. David was the perfect host, he went above and beyond, was so welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful host, wonderful views

House is clean and comfortable with everything in working order. We lacked for nothing and enjoyed the small touches, such as the in-person welcome from David and the goodies he left for us. We spent time relaxing and taking in the beautiful view, as well as kayaking and light hiking in the area. We'd definitely recommend this property!

Perfection

We loved our stay at this cottage. It had a beautiful waterfront, location, with bright big windows and a gorgeous view from everyone. The decor and comfort of the home is the best we’ve ever stayed in. There are many luxuries to enjoy and comforts everywhere you turn. The owner, David, is very accommodating and even offered us an early check-in and a late check out so we could extend our stay. He was gracious and helpful, but also respected our privacy. A nice touch was every morning when we woke up, the driveway had been freshly salted. A wonderful experience and I would highly recommend.

We were very pleased with this vacation rental. Everything was exactly as advertised and the house was very clean. We cooked or grilled every night - the kitchen was well equipped. Simmons Seafood is a few minutes drive away and had fresh seafood. We will be staying here again!

Our vacation at Sea Lavender Cottage in Maine was truly a dream come true. From the moment we booked until the time we checked out, every aspect of our experience was top-notch. The property itself is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views and impeccable accommodations. Every detail inside and outside of the cottage has been carefully thought out to provide guests with an unforgettable stay. Clean, Comfortable, Convenient. A want for not kitchen for meals taken at the property. A view that promotes relaxation. Restaurants, groceries and especially Simmons Fish Market for reasonable priced fresh seafood. And the original Reny's for great bargains. Great communication with the host.

Wonderful stay

Amazing property, even better than the photos. Dave is a fantastic host and it was truly a wonderful stay. We had nice weather and really enjoyed going out on the deck to enjoy the sun. Also played lots of pool and the sun rise in the morning is breathtaking. We will hope to return soon!

Peace and quiet

My friend Val and I were looking for some serenity for a few days and we found it in Newcastle. The views from the house are magical and watching the wildlife interact with the bay was just fantastic. I cannot think of a single negative to share and we plan on going back in the spring.
