“We had a girls trip planned and I made the reservation because of the pool and the included breakfast. And for the Comfort Inn name. I thought it was a good value. NO! The pool was green. There was a bagel Left in the toaster from that morning’s breakfast and when we down to look at the breakfast options, there was not much available. There was tissue in our peephole on the door. The security lock was broken. The wall was spackled but not repainted. The bathroom had mold in the tub. Not sure...

“We arrived 30 minutes after check in time and were told that our room would not be available for 30 to 40 minutes. Since we had to shower and change our clothes in order to make an appointment we cancelled our reservation and checked in to another motel.”

“This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others.”
