“Much to our horror, this hotel was 50kms from Groningen where we were to stay 3 days. The taxi cost us $320 AU. We thought it was in a suburb of Groningen. The owner was lovely and helped us find another hotel in Groningen for 2 days as we wanted to visit art galleries. It is in a lovely town but not what we wanted. Won’t be using Wotif again.”

“This is my new favorite hotel in the Netherlands. The staff is very warm and welcoming, my room was ENORMOUS, the setting is a rural village and the hotel is a 19th century hospital conversion. High ceilings and classic architecture. Biggest bonus was a forest walking trail behind the hotel. This place was ideal for me and my dog! Will definitely return!”

Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden und würde gerne wieder kommen, vorallem weil auch die Innenstadt direkt um die Ecke ist und man sehr gut einkaufen kann!”

“The welcome on arrival was both warm and helpful and during our stay any questions we had were handled helpfully and professionally. The standard room was clean and comfortable and the limited space well used. Next time I will probably book a comfort room. We did not eat at the hotel other than lunch for which there was a menu with plenty of choice. Parking was easy and plentiful. “The wood-fired hot tub and fire pit was a highlight of our stay that was worth the money! The electric blankets were a welcome (and needed!) bonus for our October stay in the Jubi tent. The view in the morning, lighting, design, and other accommodations and facilities on site were great! The staff were helpful and answered all of our questions.
