Hotel di lusso a Borneo

“The first impact with the hotel is positive, but then when you stay you notice all the shortcomings, I booked a river view room, but when you are there you don't see the river as it is behind the vegetation but, with this description they charge more, The correct description is "riverside" and they should not charge more for this type of room. There is no point and the view is the same as per the other rooms. Staff doesn't provide a 5 stars service. When you ask something they say "yes, yes"...

Ci si e’ smagnetizzata quasi ogni giorno la key e dato che serve ascensore, scendi in reception a sistemarla.... “The Shangti-La is just a step up from other hotels. Yes, it's big and busy but the staff go out of their way to really spoil you. I'm vegan and they bent over backwards to ensure I had a great breakfast, sent soy milk to my room tweaked dishes so I ate well. And the location - oh my. We stayed in a garden room and could walk straight out looking at the sea. Room had a shower and a bath, was well stocked. Water in the fridge every day. Their Spa was great too. I can't think of anything bad about...

“We were a group of nature lovers who were using this as a three night stay to get used to the temperature and time change upon arrival in Borneo. Loved the grounds and snorkeling right from the beach. Fantastic nature center staffed by several biologists. The food options were a bit pricey but we were expecting that. The grounds were very birdy and we found two Borean Pit Vipers. The mangrove tour was fantastic. Room is very good quality for the price.”
