“Absolutely lovely. Booked through Expedia. Upon arrival we were expected & welcomed by the host. The place was family run and everyone we encountered was brilliant, all working together & multitasking, like a well oiled machine. “It is easy to find and a good car part. From there it just got better. There was a lively welcome as we entered the bar and very efficient check in. The room was very new well looked after. We had dinner in the carvery and then worked on our laptops in the bar afterwards. The bed was very comfortable, strange for a hotel I find, and slept very well. The only downside is the hot water in the shower does take an age to arrive but once it does, there is plenty of it. We will return.”

“Our first stay here with friends , but won’t be our last Will return with our pooch as also dog friendly. Very helpful and friendly Staff , rooms clean and comfortable, evening meal and breakfast both excellent. Great location for visiting various parts of north Yorkshire . ”

“The room were clean, comfortable and well appointed with tea and coffee facilities. Bathroom was spotless with shower gel and shampoo provided and extra large fluffy bath sheets. A little warm due to excessive summer temperatures, however fans and air conditioning units were provided. Fresh milk and cold drinking water and ice was available at the bar which was a nice touch. We didn’t end up eating in the restaurant due to complicated dietary requirements, however everything looked delicious....

“Valentino’s is an absolute gem! Fabulous staff who were friendly and super courteous. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished, very clean and with quality toiletries. We ate here too, it was no problem to set up a table outside for us, the food was fantastic! Breakfast too did not disappoint with amazing polite service and Italian food to die for! Will definitely find an excuse to go back to Ripon so that I can stay here again!! ”
