“Good value for money. Clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was basic but fine - we actually walked to the Wetherspoons just up the road. The hotel was nice and quiet and had a large kitchen, which we didn't need to use. En suite was good. We didn't have any of the issues mentioned by others - there was tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc in the room plus spares in the kitchen. Entry codes were sent well before arrival.”

“After a last minute trip for my daughters birthday and a quick phone call with John, we booked three rooms. Upon arrival John met us and showed us the rooms and gave us some information about the local area. Rooms were spot on, amazing location and a quality price. As a commuter, I do not often leave feedback as I stop out quite a lot, however the family rooms are amazing and I will be back again with my family!”

“Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure ”

“Loved staying here, it was a different experience to staying at a hotel, it was cosy and comfortable. Had a lovely patio area outside where we sat every morning with a cuppa tea, at night we enjoyed sitting under stars while watching films on our laptop.
