This was a very disappointing hotel for us. We stay there during Covid restrictions but the strange thing was that we had no options other than use valet parking. This did not make sense because we had a stranger come in our car and park our care for us rather than allowing us to park it ourselves requiring us to have to clean the car each time we wanted to get something out of it or move the car. In addition, the room offered no microwave, no table, and they didn’t even give us water bottles in the room. There was no Concierge and no directions of where the restaurant was necessitating us to have to go out of the hotel for food. The pool, spa, mini bar & gym were closed so there were no amenities. For a 5 star hotel I would have expected at least to have water in the room or mints on the pillow, something to make it special but there was nothing. The room was very stark and clean enough but nothing showing that the room had been disinfected nor was there wipes or hand sanitizer in the room. It did not feel welcoming or warm. The black out curtains never closed and so when you were trying to sleep at night there were lines of lights that made it difficult to sleep. The location of the hotel was excellent other than it was across from the fire station which was very busy and had alarms going all night. While we loved our stay in Boston It was not because of this hotel. The next time we come back we’ll stay somewhere else. Overall I’d score this hotel as a 2.5 or 3.
