Cottage 6 posti, confortevole con spa e camino

La casa, con una capacità di 6 persone, comprende tre camere da letto, un ampio soggiorno con soggiorno e cucina e un bagno con spa 3 posti.

La stufa a legna è qui per darti il benvenuto e rilassarti quando ritorni la sera delle tue passeggiate nella foresta, dei tuoi viaggi in bicicletta o a cavallo o di una giornata di visite alle numerose attrazioni locali.

Il noleggio si trova nel cuore di una vecchia casa colonica, lontano dalla strada principale.
La terra vicina è delimitata da un tranquillo ruscello, chiamato Barrosset.
Pascoli e vecchi edifici agricoli (fienili, scuderie, ...) possono potenzialmente ospitare camper, cavalli o attrezzature ricreative all'aperto (mountain bike, biciclette, motociclette, quad ...).

La nostra fattoria "Le Grand nest" si trova a Boult-aux-Bois, vicino alla foresta di Argonne, nel dipartimento delle Ardenne, nella regione del Grande Oriente.
Questo affascinante paesino di circa 150 abitanti è noto per ospitare le famose edizioni di "La Hulotte", l'associazione della Casa della natura e del CERFE (Centro per la ricerca e la formazione in ecoetologia), stazione di campo dell'Università di Reims Champagne-Ardenne.

Villaggio tranquillo ma dinamico, c'è un panificio, un cestista, una carpenteria metallica, un negozio di patatine, un ristorante e giardinieri che praticano la vendita diretta dei loro prodotti.

Troverai, a dieci chilometri, la città di Vouziers con il suo ufficio turistico, il suo cinema, la sua piscina, i suoi ristoranti e tutte le infrastrutture amministrative, mediche, culturali e sportive tradizionali.
La città ospita anche numerosi negozi, supermercati e un'area commerciale e di attività.
La sua chiesa gotica del 13 ° secolo, con un notevole portale rinascimentale con 3 portici del 16 ° secolo, è da non perdere.

Woning viel helaas erg tegen

De eigenaar van de woning hebben we geen enkele keer gezien. De deur was bij aankomst open en de sleutel hing om de hoek. In de woning waren veel vliegen aanwezig, en overal vliegenpoep. Daarnaast was het toilet in de badkamer stuk, en was hij niet doorgespoeld, zat vol ontlasting! Voegen schimmelig. Ook elke nacht bezoek van muizen gehad. Geen beschrijving van de aanwezige apparaten, de wifi-code lag tussen de vakantiefolders. Meubilair krakkemikkig, bank was oud/rommelig, en sommige stoelen aan de eettafel waren stuk.

Perfect Getaway

The place was perfect as a getaway to relax yet close to the WWI monuments. Boult-aux-Bois is a quiet friendly village with one Main Street. There is a Parcours Artistique with interesting wares including a basketmaker. There is also an artisan baker with amazing loaves of bread available on Friday if ordered through host by Thursday. A friendly restaurant is within walking distance and has a great apple pie. As a runner, every path out of town is uphill, though worth the effort for the spacious views running to the next towns and back. Your reward is that every run home is downhill. The hosts were wonderful and made us feel welcomed and cared for. The goodbye after our 19 days was sad, though we will be back. The gite has a kitchen with modern appliances. Cooking on the induction stove was a breeze. A big criteria for us was whether my husband could get around (he uses a cane or walker.) It was easy for him to enter the gite from the front and move around the large sitting room, kitchen, and bathroom. The large main bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor meant he did not have to navigate the stairs. Upstairs are two large bedroom with lots of room and light. There is a three person jacuzzi though we did not use it because of husband’s mobility issues. We also did not use the large back patio because it was cold when we stayed in November. It has a lovely view over a meadow and part of the village. We enjoyed the view from the kitchen table through large windows. A plus for our long term stay was access to the washer and dryer. As WWI historians, we were within 1/2 hour of the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, Montfaucon, Sommepy, and Sechault. Besides the delightful hosts, we met the town’s unofficial historian, the mayor, who like the host, spoke English. We also met a few villagers who stopped to chat as we were walking in town taking photos. We’re not sure what they said because we don’t speak French, though the exchanges were very friendly. Overall, the gite and the village were wonderful, welcoming, and made us feel like we were home.

Mooie locatie

Hebben het goed gehad ,mooie locatie om omgeving te verkennen. Vanuit huis mooie boswandeling te maken . Doorgaande weg is goed hoorbaar doch niet hinderlijk en stil in de nacht. Mooie ruime slaapkamers met goede bedden .

Fantastic

Very easy to message owner regarding our arrival time. There were three of us staying, we travelled on motorbikes and found it a perfect place to stay to visit the World War I at Verdun and the 101st airborne at Basgone, The property has three bedrooms one double room with a large double bed downstairs, and two rooms upstairs containing two single beds in each room, the upstairs beds are ideal for kids or teenagers, or in our case two bikers, The beds were actually very comfortable. Downstairs the living area was very good in the bathroom you will find the hot tub which was very relaxing in the evenings, the kitchen was very good however we were not used to cooking on electric, so we found this a problem. But we cooked meals and all was very nice facilities. Top tip. Next to the property is a small field with very friendly sheep that will talk to you and they will expect you to give them bread , and why not it’s a bit of fun and they are very friendly. There is also a barn attached to the property and on a rainy day we put our motorbikes in there which was very useful. I would highly recommend this property, and if we are in this area again we would certainly rebook. Paul, Ian & Paul, from U.K. 🇬🇧

Région et logement agréables

C'est la deuxième fois que nous passons nos vacances à Boult-aux-Bois. La région est très riche il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le logement est très fonctionnel et le jacuzzi est très appréciable. Le propriétaire très gentil. Endroit que je recommande.

Ein tolles, geräumiges Ferienhaus.

Wir und unsere Hunde haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein tolles, geräumiges Ferienhaus mit genug Holz für den Brennofen und einem Induktionsherd!!!!! Schöne Lage zum spazierengehen und anschließend im Whirlpool aufzuzuwärmen. Empfehlenswert. Auch gerne im Sommer.

Een heerlijke vakantie-woning!

Je komt in een warm bad terecht als je aankomt , letterlijk! Heerlijk genoten van de jacuzzi , open haard, mooie keuken en prima bed! Heel rustig dorpje, bijna geen mensen gezien. Mooi bos binnen 5 min om uren rond te wandelen met de hond. Ook daar geen mens gezien dus hondje kon lekker los rond rennen. Dorpje Vouziers binnen 10 min rijden voor de boodschapjes. Leuke uitstap naar Reims, uurtje rijden. Dus een heerlijk huis op een rustige locatie, zalig om te onthaasten en bij te tanken als je een heel druk thuis-leven hebt. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!!

Netjes en schoon ingericht vakantiehuis in rustig dorpje. Om te wandelen in de bossen. Met de auto makkelijk naar Reims of Charleville -Mezieres. Naar de wolven dierentuin kort in de buurt.

Gîte spacieux, fonctionnel et très agréable

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce gîte. Il a été refait à neuf et est joliment décoré. Les chambres et la pièce de vie sont spacieuses. Il est très bien équipé, tout y est bien pensé. Le plus: le spa est un confort très appréciable. Le propriétaire est très accueillant. Nous le recommandons.

Gite confortable et fonctionnel

Nous avons passé un bon séjour au calme dans un gite spacieux, propre et clair. Le jacuzzi est un plus apprécié au retour des promenades. Le gîte est bien situé et nous a permis de faire des excursions à Verdun, Reims, la vallée de la Meuse, les vignobles de Champagne .... Agréable séjour.

Bon gîte propre et bien équipé

Intérieur comme neuf. Chambres spacieuses Espace à vivre lumineux. Très bien équipé en électroménager (gros et petit). Jacuzzi spa excellent, 3 places. Super agréable. De belle qualité. Internet, téléphone et tv par box orange. Extérieur très calme, paisible. Grande cour privée, manque un peu de verdure. Table, chaises, parasols, barbecue..... Enfin tout ce dont on a besoin et au rendez-vous pour passer un super séjour. Nous n'hésiterons pas à retourner si l'occasion se présente. Je recommande fortement

Lieu spacieux, propre et convivial

Très bon séjour dans ce gite. C'est très spacieux, propre, convivial. La literie est très confortable, même pour moi qui ait de gros problèmes de dos. L'environnement est calme et agréable. Le propriétaire de ce gite est également très réactif aux messages et très arrangeant. Nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter du SPA, mais il n'est pas impossible que nous revenions prochainement pour en profiter...

Très bon séjour dans les Ardennes

L'accueil au gîte "La Héronnière" à Boult-aux-Bois est très sympathique et le cadre appréciable. De belles ballades dans les bois sont à proximité. La location est très agréable, spacieuse, claire, propre et très bien équipée.

Un mot d'ordre : le calme !

L'endroit est agréable, parfaitement équipé et on prend rapidement ses marques dans cette maison où tout a été fait pour se sentir comme à la maison. On a apprécié le confort, le spa et la qualité de la literie, pour un bon moment à deux loin du tumulte de la ville, des enfants .... Seul bémol (mais cela doit tenir à mon côté citadin) ... incapable d'allumer un feu dans la cheminé avec du bois, du papier journal et des allumettes ! L'instinct de l'homme originel était bien loin de moi lol !

Goed uitgeruist en sfeervol vakantiehuis

Bij aankomst een goede en uitgebreide rondleiding door de aangename eigenaar. Leuk en sfeervol vakantiehuis met alle comfort ! Jacuzzi is heel leuk na een lange wandeling in het bos en de kachel zorgt voor extra sfeer in de winter. Ook leuk dat honden hier welkom zijn. Dichtbij een groot bos, dus je hoeft de wagen niet te nemen om te gaan wandelen.

Fidèle aux photos , agréable, grande pièce à vivre fonctionnelle. Petit bémol sur la literie de la chambre double. Propriétaire charmant . Le mauvais temps ne nous a pas permis de profiter pleinement des alentours, néanmoins nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Een oase van rust aan de rand van het bos

Wij hebben een fantastische week gehad in dit huisje. De combinatie van stille omgeving, rolluiken in het hele huis en een goed bed hebben ervoor gezorgd dat wij helemaal uitgerust naar huis gingen. Het huisje in echt van alle gemakken voorzien, goed onderhouden en schoon. Het bos is op 3 minuten loopafstand, fantastische omgeving om te wandelen met de hond. Voor de rest is er niet veel te doen in de omgeving, wel een erg leuk uitstapje naar Reims gedaan en op de terugweg langs Lille. De eigenaar is erg aardig en je voelt je welkom. Het enige minpuntje is de langzame wifi verbinding die het geweld van twee tieners en twee volwassenen natuurlijk niet aankon. Als je je hond meeneemt, let op, het grind in de achtertuin is niet bevorderlijk voor actieve pootjes van honden. (lopen=prima, rennen achter een stok=au) Uitstekend verblijf! Wij zouden er graag terugkomen. Bedankt, Frèderic!
