There are numerous places you can visit nearby including Hengistbury Head which is an area of Scientific Interest due to its wildlife. Christchurch with its weekly market, independent shops, beautiful harbour and is home to one of the longest parish churches in the country. Bournemouth is within easy reach with its high street of shops, frequent events, cinema, theatre and many eateries. The New Forest is well worth a visit with its free-roaming ponies, cattle and donkeys. It is an excellent place to go walking and cycling.
