“The Royal Oak is in a stunning location and there has clearly been a lot of investment in upgrading the facilities and decor. This has resulted in very stylish, thoughtfully designed, high quality accommodation.
The room & bathroom were gorgeous with good storage, a very comfortable bed and good quality fabrics, linen & towels.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
We very much enjoyed the evening meal and breakfast, both cooked well and with good quality ingredients.

“A lovely overnight stay at the Grange Country House. We received a lovely welcome from Michael, he was very informative and helped us to get settled in quickly. He gave us a tour and explanation of where everything was and about breakfast. The room was perfect, very clean and excellent condition. The breakfast was delicious the next morning and everyone that worked there was smiling and helpful. We will be staying again. ”

“Un albergo in posizione isolata, ma vicinissimo a Keswick. Camera molto comoda, pulita con ottimo letto. Colazione super, molto curata. Personale attento e gentile. “Traditional and slightly dated hotel. The accommodation was more than adequate and the food and service excellent. Its proximity to Keswick town centre is a bonus, especially as parking is free. After checkout we were told we could leave our car on the premises for the rest of the day if we so wished. ”

“Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.”
