“We stayed at Hampden Apartments as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The only positive aspect of our stay was the location, which was excellent and very convenient. Unfortunately, everything else fell well below expectations. Communication from the host was virtually non-existent. Despite the listing stating that check-in instructions would be sent by email, I received nothing after booking and none of my messages through Expedia or calls to the provided mobile number were answered....

“Struttura scelta per essere la più “economy” della zona essendo anche la più lontana da tutto (c’è una fermata bus di fronte) ma comunque ad un cifra in un cui ci si aspetta un minimo di funzionalità. I problemi arrivano da subito: al check-in scopriamo che la colazione inclusa sarebbe stata dalle 9:30 nel bar accanto (mentre sui siti è indicato un orario diverso), troppo tardi per chi intende visitare la zona e uscire presto. “Adequate parking, the AC was efficient in the room I stayed in.”

“2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated....

“Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break.”
