Bunny Hill - Loft 4

If you love unique architecture, you'll love this loft renovated from a 100 year old schoolhouse. Boasts heated floors, a private patio, fireplace and beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Enjoy a roasting marshmallows around our firepit and cooking your favorite meal on our shared access outdoor grill.


Fully renovated in 2022, you will not be disappointed in the loft styling and amenities our schoolhouse has to offer. Sleeps 4, 1 private bedroom and 1 pullout sofa in main living area. Located right near downtown where Boyne City has many cute coffee shops, restaurants, retail shopping as well as the year round Farmers Market every Saturday.


We are 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain and Avalanche Bay for skiing and waterpark fun! As well as nearby beaches and marinas make enjoying Lake Charlevoix easy! We have ski/beach lockers for each unit to keep your equipment safe and clean during your stay. 10-20 minutes away from Charlevoix, Petoskey and Walloon Lake. Completely Blown Away!

By the pictures online, I knew this would be a great spot for my husband and I to spend the weekend while enjoying the Boyne City area, but I had no idea just how beautiful it was. The building itself is amazing, and everything, and I mean everything, on the grounds has been meticulously restored. Our loft was spotless and felt brand new, with plenty of space for the two of us and well-equipped with anything we needed throughout our stay. The washer and dryer were a much-appreciated feature. I cannot recommend this location enough!

We absolutely loved this place. Hands down the best in Boyne City. Perfect walking distance to downtown and the marina. Very clean, cleaning crew were extremely nice and it was just an extremely comfortable and cozy place. Our friends loved the it, especially sitting out on their patio. We will be back for sure! Thank you for everything!

Boyne; Favorite Stop in Northern MI

Super cute town in northern Michigan that is central to experiencing the great outdoors, small town shopping, excellent restaurants, and only minutes away from other great cities. This building is within walking distance of downtown and the lake. It is super secure and a well planned renovation of an old neighborhood school. All of the decorating and floor plan made you feel like you were in an upscale townhouse or condo with nothing left out. Having a beautiful porch with all of the seating you would need, gas fireplace in the main living space, fully stocked kitchen, and impeccably clean throughout. The only disappointment would have been the less than comfortable bed that was only a queen size older mattress.

Excellent stay! Superior rental!

Loved this property! Quiet! Clean! Close to downtown/restaurant area! Appreciated that property owner supplied 3 days worth of coffee plus creamer, sugar and filters, also hand soaps, dish detergent and dishwasher detergent, garbage bags etc. saves from having to bring all of those items for a short stay. The renovation from an old schoolhouse to amazing accommodations is top notch! Great attention to detail and was thoroughly thought out! Would highly recommend staying at this property, don’t second guess it!!!

Character and Comfort

This place as very neat. It is a refurbished old school house. We stayed in one of the one bedroom rooms. It was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. We walked into town and watched the sunset. We enjoyed the balcony and enjoyed a movie on the couch. The bed was comfortable and the room was perfect. We would easily stay here again if our travels take us up this way.

Wonderful space and view

Easy walk to DT , beaches, marina, park; gotgeous interior and spcae; 3rd floor, loft- masters suite has incredible water view and lounge area ( albeit many flights of steps to get up yo 3rd floor.)

Absolute perfection in Boyne City!

The attention to detail on the remodeling of this school house was incredible. We are in the commercial development business and no expense was spared here. First class all the way. You can walk into downtown Boyne City or to the lake in minutes. We have already booked our next stay and bringing our friends.
