On our last day the fire alarm went off very early in the morning, forcing us to wake up and go outside into the cold. We waited for about an hour for the fire trucks to arrive and to be allowed back into our room. During the alarm, there were no announcements made on the intercom to let us know what to do, just a loud beeping in the room. This happened on the day we were checking out. We requested a late checkout due to the disruption but were still charged an additional fee for checking out just one hour past the regular time.
One morning we went to Aaltos for breakfast. The restaurant was almost empty, yet there were very few staff working, and the staff member who approached us was quite rude, telling us the restaurant was “full” and that we would need to sit in the bar Instead.
During our stay, the waterslide was also out of order, which was disappointing for our family.
Overall, we stayed for three nights. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the convenience for the event we were attending in the Keystone was fantastic, but the overall customer service was very poor, and we left feeling quite dissatisfied with our stay.
